I decide to choose Autie's Choise side during main quest in Archive, so Recall Order for the Trifurcated Brain also active. I completed main quest(A Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum) in Archive (reprogrammed UENIAC to Auntie's Choise Logic, give Calcaduceus to Ursula Ormsby). Then "Recall Order for the Trifurcated Brain" quest requires "Return to ACS Undisputed Claim" (return to office where Ursulla and second VP are located. But when I return to Auntie's ship station, port are invaded by Order troops (they are hostile to me because I choose Auntie's side). I killed all of them and simply move to Ursula's office, all Auntie's NPC are also hostiles but reputaion with Aunte's are "Respected level" and do not drop when I killed them. So when I reach door to office it simply blocked by barricade and Sealed. Any suggestions to avoid this bug?

I'm curious why there is an option to hit in mellee damage by fist (if you armed pistol or one-handed rocket launcher) and butts (if two-handed guns), but no info about ammount of damage and attack speed? I already test and found that it around 19 damage from hit to non-armoured targets like civilians. Also time between shots is around 0.5-0.7 sec for fists and 0.9-1.1 for butt hit. I test it with 0 points in mellee stats. If you guys found something it will be interest to know (does mellee stats affect range weapons if use it like mellee etc). Feel free to share

I tried to explore most of the island before I touched the actual story content and wound up getting the mechanical parts for Hogarth and Westport a while ago in my save. Now I'm back at Westport and have convinced the three people to leave but have not been able to trigger a conversation with Hogarth. I even tried sabotaging the three facilities afterwards and the only thing that changed was some of the town npc chatter mentioning the most recent sabotage. I'm almost 20h in and would rather not have to restart the game from the beginning just for a single side quest.

Only applies to the public_beta branch, released branch was fine at mentioned resolutions. When running in 1280x800 (native steam deck resolution) The combat/conversation log has empty black space above the text that will grow if the window is resized. Conversely, on my desktop in 2560x1440, the text escapes out the top of the window. Also a side note: I have so many resolutions and refresh rates available on my desktop, I have to incrementally apply larger and larger resolutions to get back to 2560x1440 because the larger ones are off-screen if running at 1280x800.

So im trying to convince the order and auntie to work together. Im trusted by both factions, have spoke to ruth who is open to the idea and says i just need to convince auntie. But before i convinced ruth i had already told auntie i wasnt ready to commit to her yet and went about building my rep with the order. Now the only option ive got is to talk to the 2 aunties choice people and say “to hell with the consequences ill take the archive for you” (or something like that) Am i missing something? Seems pretty stupid to be locked out of something like this when the game seems to be implying its still possible.

Ever since I picked up Tristan and dismissed Niles to put Tristan in the party, Niles has completely disappeared from the Incognito. I can still add him to my party when I leave but he's missing from the ship and so I can't talk to him there or do any of his interactions. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Have you been able to fix it? I've tried various things like putting Niles in my party and then sending him back to the ship but it doesn't work. I would try restoring to before I got Tristan and sending Niles back before the dialogue to add Tristan to the party but I didn't notice the problem for a long time and I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past that now. Please help!

Hello! game version 1.0.4.2 patch I’ve encountered an issue with the Russian localization in The Outer Worlds 2. Some UI elements and dialogue skill checks display broken or untranslated text instead of proper Russian strings. This happens in several places, including: Dialogue skill checks (Speech, Intimidate, Lie, Science, etc.) Interactions with terminals and locks Various in-game prompts and tooltips On the English version everything works correctly — so it seems that some localization keys are missing or corrupted in the Russian .locres files. Below is an example of the issue — please see the screenshot. Could you please forward this to the localization team or confirm if an updated Russian language pack is planned in an upcoming patch?

Scopes are broken

Yeah, I was having the same issue with early game weapons that had 1.5, 1.75 and 2x scopes, including the Prism Repeating Rifle that is fitted with the 2x Prism Scope. NONE of these scopes magnified. I posted on Reddit, and several folks said that the only scopes that work are the ones on sniper rifles. But, I started working my way through the A102 Skycutter facility last night and found a "Scoped Shock Machine Gun" that was fitted with a 2.5x "Telescopic Sight". AND THE SCOPE ACTUALLY WORKS. IT ACTUALLY MAGNIFIES THE IMAGE. So, it is not just Sniper Rifles where the scope actually works. I'm beginning to think that the scopes not working on all those other weapons is a bug. -

So I have the same bug. Im on xbox SX and upon getting to lvl19 I got only 2skill points instead of 3. At that moment I was inside the garden in cloister (the xp from discovering triggered the lvl up). However, by loading a former save before going on cloister and going on praector instead and lvl up there I got my 3points. Tried the same thing again in the garden on cloister, 2 points again. So I dont know if its link to the planet or the location within it but apparently it works fine elsewhere. Guess I will try to level up again somewhere else on cloister see if it work. If not I will have to go outside of it any time I want to lvl up

I'm playing the game and I'm really enjoying it. The only issue I'm having so far is that it would be great to have customizable markers to add to the maps, not just the blue dots, but also markers for weapons, chests, or doors that I can't open yet, so I can go back and open them later. I can't remember everything to go back, and I'm sure I'll forget some things. And honestly, using the blue markers is confusing, since I use them to move around the map, but I can't really tell what they are. I don't know what you all think, but I think it would be a really cool feature to have in the game. Cheers PS: Excuse my English, but I speak Spanish and not that much English.
