Started playing again after a long hiatus and browsing the forums again. I was half-way through the original post before I realized that… I wrote it 4 years ago haha. Finally upgraded my computer, amazing being able to play with max graphics! I never finished the original game but I think I’ll revisit it! I would minimize resolve and max per > intellect > Dex, keep con at 8 before blessings and rest in might. I really want to like stalker especially with the true stalker mod but it just takes too many points to make the pet worthwhile. I think the build still works, start with some ranged attacks to bump your cipher pool and throw some cipher cc. Then ranger roll to the back line, pop your pet behind bad guy and beam attack. this is also one of the few builds where melee weapon/gun dual could still work. Fire off at range and close in, few strikes and dump your focus with soul annil. Again not meant to be a power build but could use a lot of different weapons/playing styles in case things get boring

Is there a mod that just allows shifters to cast without all the changes of the evo mod?

Anyone try ff/ priest of wael? Suppress affliction and resolve inspiration seems to synergize anf you get the nice defensive spells for additional tankiness plus priest healing to offset forbidden fist ability

How did you distribute your stats?

Been playing a ff/trickster with stats/playstyle similar to a dance with death build https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/103385-class-build-a-dance-with-death-shadowdancer-12-potd-solo/page-1# Its been pretty fun... sneaking around and attacking from stealth so dance of death gets the wound count up. Chose wood elf for the dex resistance so having my wizard cast web or from scroll gives a chance for wounds when I activate swift strikes. FF ability doesnt seem to benefit from backstab or sneak attack which sucks..is that intended?

Each time I try this method Mad Morena becomes hostile and I have to kill her too - maybe if you do it after you finish her quest it's ok, but then you have to gain reputation with the principi first. Dont do any dunnage quests first, some of those increase rep. Steal the crates she want first in the first map when you enter neketa. Steal the other part of the horn thing in the palacr map. in the gullet get the restoring food quest from the blind guy along with all the other quests but dont complete any. I head down the lift and kill the big grub. When you get to undercroft, kill everyone in that map first outside her room, then stealth in w one guy next to mad morena and pause. Unstealth, click to talk to her, then unpause. You will get the quest to steal the crates and automatically complete. Then you can kill her and everyone else in that room. That should get your rep down. Then go back and finish all the quests in gullet after you get the armor

I did another run and this time there were 3 maerwalds in the 3rd arena initiation fight

I got the +7 deflection bracers as reward for the lone survivor quest in the tunnels under the gullet when you take the lift down. If you help him escape you will find him in port maje.
