May 14, 20187 yr I bought the menagerie for the pets and I have tried putting it on the ship many times and it wont take. the upgrade refuses to confirm or install itself. I looked it up and I'm doing it right. it's a bug that needs fixing.
May 14, 20187 yr Yeah it's a bug. But a workaround for now is to just click the blueprint and then the slot, rather than drag-and-dropping it. The one we're talking about is that we have menagerie already, but we can't put any pets inside. The owls are not what they seem.
May 14, 20187 yr Yep. Same issue here. I bought the animal farm one and the upgrade to my Captain's quarters and neither will apply. I thought it was an issue with needing a bigger ship. From what I read here, it's a bug? That is disappointing, as I dropped like 5k on both those items combined. Could have used that for a nice weapon or armor piece... Edited May 14, 20187 yr by Jayngo

May 14, 20187 yr it's a nasty bug :/ Don't think that counts as a pet. Unless it's oversized, perhaps. Also, will we get cat armour DLC?
May 14, 20187 yr A single left click on the upgrade, and then a single left click on the upgrade slot worked for me. I sort of regret my purchase though, because holy god there are animals everywhere down there now.

Will try when I get home...
May 22, 20187 yr I had this issue until I realized that all my pets were in Xoti's personal inventory. Shift clicking them into the stash moved them all into the menagerie.
May 22, 20187 yr Not a feature but I'd like to comment that having all those animals in such a confined space would be hell as the smell would be insufferable. Great feature though. Yes! We have no bananas.
June 19, 20187 yr Thanks for the tips in this thread to click to apply instead of drag and drop. That was driving me nuts! Also, I don't see too drastic of a change...I guess I was expecting something more ornate for the captain's quarters! I only noticed a blanket added to the bed.
