God This Place Died Quick

Recommended Posts

This place has gotten a bit dull from privious days.... <_<

What can we really do though... it's been announced, it's post E3... until it gets released this is probably going to be the norm.

I think this place will most likely die down until december (highly speculation!) when the 'exclusive' previews and the official trailer arrives.

It could have something to do with Obsidian not yet having a long history and backlog of games (under the name "Obsidian").

Also, what could be discussed about Kotor2, was discussed to pieces one and a half month before it was officially announced.

A few newcomers after the announcement tried to recycle a few of the old subjects, but since most had been discussed before, it stirred little new interest.

Now if they were to start a developers diary for Kotor2, so people could keep up with whats happening, watch this space for people trying to outdo each other, competing for the Obsidian guys attention. ;)

Oh, and some wallpaper sized concept art would help *hint!* *hint!* :)

(and some post apocalyptic levels, blue jumpsuits and a female npc with a tail)

Maybe interest has died down when everyone realized Kotor 2 is more like kotor 1.5 and are simply more excited about a million other more exciting games coming down the pipe.

I think that's a little assumptive. As far as PC RPG's go, I think there are plenty great games in the works. As far as console RPG's so, KOTOR:2 is the game to beat.

Yeah but that's not saying much. What console RPG is it's competition? Maybe it will be better than I expect. I am just very wary. They seem more intent on adding new stuff before fixing what was wrong in the old stuff. Anyways I think most people are like me and cannot afford to buy every game that comes out. And I have PS2 Xbox and a computer so there is some multiplatform competition here. If a better PC RPG is out at the same time I will buy that over KOTOR2.

I am really excited about KOTOR:2, but I'm with you that I would likely buy another good PC RPG (The Fall perhaps) before I bought KOTOR:2 on the PC.

That raises another question, as I own both an X-Box and a PC. Which system to buy on?

I've heard there will be X-Box Live content at Launch. KOTOR played fine on an X-Box controller. Will the content also be available for PCs on the Internet? Can a dev possibly answer this?

ALWAYS buy the PC version as long as your computer is up to it. Any content on x-box liv will obviously be available for the PC version. They aren't going to piss off that many fans.

I normally buy on PC if it's available to have the extra content and modding possibilities. All my friends bought Morrowind on the X-Box and I laughed. It was a good X-Box game, but I got the two expansions, and tons of plugins which greatly enhanced the game.
