0 Cleattus Maximus Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 First of all, thanks for going the extra mile to make this game available on MacOs. Most developers don't. Unfortunately, I'm having the same problem with the black screen. My specs are: OS 10.13.3, MacBook Pro Mid 2014, 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB memory, Intel Iris, 1536 MB. Not exactly a gaming rig, but it ran the opening memory sequence well enough...
0 tophervaleri Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Hey all, Sorry to hear you are having these issue on launch! Can you guys let me know which OS you are running? We have been having troubles with Apple trying to get everything set up, so every bit of info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Caleb 10.13.4
0 oaklei Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Same issue for me. This is pretty shocking stuff. MacOs High Sierra v. 10.13.4 MacBook Air 13", early 2014 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor Intel HB Graphics 5000
0 Hamhaus Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB Crash at loading screen after the prelude/memory sequence. Although since this problem seems to be an issue during the beta and wasn't solved, I hope this problem isn't the start of other issues just waiting to be discovered in the Mac port. Thanks for looking into this.
0 Snuffpuppet Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Hi, I'm having this problem too. Same as in Beta Backer 4. Here is my BB4 post with all the deets: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/96997-bb4-mac-starting-a-new-game-hangs-on-black-screen/ Thanks!
0 WheelofTime Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Same issue. MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5 8 GB Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 1536 MB While I realize launches, especially big ones like this, are never perfect, I was looking forward to playing the game on release today. Hope it's patched soon for us Mac users!
