Yeah. Even though I'm not a fan of the strident tone and hyperbole (3-day detention is hardly comparable to deportation and forced labor), there is an authoritarian drift going on in Europe, and possibly the world at large.

 

We've had people handed jail sentences for twatter jokes, insulting the Crown, and other trivial **** that no one in their right mind would have suggested constitutes a criminal offense a generation ago. Meanwhile, we plan a general strike and mass demonstrations on "international women's day". Seems legit. Everyone knows we are a banana republic kingdom, but it's somewhat unnerving to see it also happening in countries that supposedly enshrined individual rights.

 

Props to the guy for not making a 10:01 video, but regardless, it's still rather weak substance-wise. Oh well, at least it's not Sargon.

I agree on the humor, the timing was off though, for reasons that if stated I think might open the same can of worms that I thought to avoid when I delete the original post.

 

 

While I'm not overly familiar with British laws (as there are oh so many in that supposed land of free that still sees many willingly bow down to a parasitic monarch), they certainly pretend to be a nation that holds 'free speech' in the highest regard. Pretend it as many a Brit might, reality speaks to a truth much different.

 

While this event is sadly not surprising given western civilization's hell bent trajectory towards really ugly **** if not all out doom, it is disconcerting to see ever more steps taken towards the abyss.

 

I'm not sure I've ever said this before on this forum, but I've been thinking it for a few years now: The rate of decline is astounding, as is the rise in ignorance in western culture. While the decline has been predictable as the seeds were sown a few generations ago, the increasing acceleration is somewhat astounding.

The authorization drift is nearly everywhere in western civilization, and the authoritarian drifts (if you will) are getting so high it's beginning to get hard to see the yonder field of relative freedom that we used to all be standing in from where we're now standing. As you are indeed very correct, though I'd say it wasn't even a generation ago....

Spain, presumably since numbersman is from there. They certainly have an occasionally enforced Lèse Majesté law (in their post Franco constitution, iirc). Indeed, they only have a monarchy at all because Franco won and the Spanish Republic lost the civil war.

 

I don't think England has a Lèse Majesté law any more, "God Save the Queen" didn't hit any Lèse Majesté problems- which it would have for sure in, say, Thailand- just public disorder and soft boycott ones. Even then most of the legal problems were deliberate to get publicity.

 

Technically all crimes in England are against the crown, but that's an abstract concept as much as crimes being against 'the people' at this point.

I have one enemy in the world. Left party? Actually no I have in my country a few left party members they are my friends. They are not communists but very socialistic that I do admit. However ANTIFA is an orgranisation that should be banned from the world and my friends none of them support Antifa.

 

I get ok along with my left party friends. I have also friends that are more or less right wing.

 

Speaking of pure economic view (not immigrant vs none immigrant) left (sosialistic) or right (capitalistic) I consider myself somewhat in the middle which is typcial for my country.

Even a few of my friends that are true left party dislike very much ANTIFA.

My friends from left party said ANTIFA does nothing good for their cause. Only a small portion of the left party very small percentage are ANTIFA people. ANTIFA believe in violence and such bull****. Personally I have never met any ANTIFA people live.

Well perhaps but in my country I do know ANTIFA exists and one of the most well know members is a left party represant. ANTIFA at least in my country has connections to some in the left party. My country does not have only Democrats and Republicians we have left, center etc.

 

However good and thanks that you agree that ANTIFA are bad.

Ok we have different views on many matters that has become already known. Regarding the authors cant say I am an expert on them really quite new to them.

 

I have heard Alex Jones channel from before and Black Pigeon from before but these authors are quite new thing to me.

I am from post communist country because Stalin made pact with Allies to split Europe, occupied during WW2 by Nazis while our allies sold Hitler 1/3 of our country without us being allowed to participate in that meeting. I don't have respect for blind (not literally) people

Finland. No not Hungary I have not even been as tourist to Hungary though I have visited several other European countries including wild Ukraine. I might visit Hungary one day as tourist, but no plans to visit Hungary year 2018. Hungary and perhaps also Poland have stand out in Europe with very different politics then say Germany.
