Out of curiosity, beyond the initial survey that was sent out last fall, are there any plans to give an update on the progress/implementation of the various creative backer tiers (Item, Portraits, NPCs, etc...) or are they all left to be a surprise during the final release?

That's how it was handled for PoE, so most likely yes.

I'll do it, for a turnip.

Im looking forward to seeing what backer items, NPCs etc will be in the implemented in the game as well.

As for the portraits, they've already been released in POE1 and the Deadfire beta (including my profile pic here).  Unless theyre adding more that have yet to be finalised.

@PneumaticFire: I already reckon your portrait is one of the better ones. Subtly, it displays sternness, intelligence, and a slight hint of playfulness.

Thank you :)

It went through a few amendments in terms of colour scheme, sharpness and background, and I am happy with both the communication process, openness, implementation of feedback and end result.

I've noticed your badge.  Which tier did you go with?

You're welcome!

And I just picked the maxed out digital tier, as I'm not any collector of physical goods, as it were. But I immediately decided to back Obsidian a bit more when Fluffle raised money for the Black Isle Bastards mini-stretch-goal. :)
