ShadySands Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 What's good (but not like New York slang)?. I'm looking for some decent time wasters. Free or paid matters not and Android is preferred but I can do iOS if I have to. Free games updated 3/4/21
Pidesco Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Gumball and Dungeons is pretty good but very addictive. Puzzle & Dragons is also great. SonicMage117 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Asphalt 8: Airborne (racing) Free Sonic The Hedgehog (platforming) Free Subway Surfer (Runner) Free Stickman Football (Sports) Free Gun Fu (Action) Free These are all single player games. Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother? What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest. Begone! Lest I draw my nail...

Humanoid Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Fire Emblem Heroes is better than I thought it would be, but it's backed by a very cynical (borderline predatory) business model involving spending premium currency for a 6% chance to get the rarest tier units. That said, it's thoroughly playable without spending a cent, so it's fine to recommend to anyone without a history of gambling addiction. Ironically perhaps, this mobile iteration of the series ends up being more tactically interesting than the disappointing mainline series release this year (FE Echoes). TL;DR: Very good core gameplay for a mobile game, shame about the slot machine aspect surrounding it. Fake edit: Statistically you get enough free premium currency to get (on average) about 3 "five star" units a month from random rolls, assuming you exhaust the available content. One more is usually provided "free" through grinding during a monthly event, and another one or two can be acquired per month through acquiring a different currency that allows you to upgrade a lower rarity unit. Keyrock Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Out now on iOS and Android. Also, Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies and Apollo Justice Ace Attorney were previously ported to smartphones. I can't give firsthand impressions as my budget doesn't allow me to buy another game this month currently and I already bought SteamWorld Dig 2, but I'll likely get all of these in the near future. The reviews seem to point to solid ports and these are the types of games that are perfectly suited to be played on phones. Also, Phoenix Wright games are awesome. 1 RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks
Mamoulian War Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 I play Tales of the Rays and it is pretty solid time waster and the business model is nice. By questing, you can get a lot of premium currency for free. And you can support that way your weapons. A lot of special events where you can done stuff for half the energy. If you enjoyed some older Tales of games, you might enjoy playing with some of the characters comming back. Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC.
