January 27, 20179 yr Hi there, I got the Obsidian newsletter "Introducing Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire". Within the newsletter's body there is a big "Redeem discount code" button and the text "Find out more at Fig.co and redeem your $5 off code available on any tier $29 and above." So... When I follow the button link I still have to pay $29 and not $24... Is it a bug or am I doing it wrong?!

January 27, 20179 yr Did you double check your spam mail, junk mail, deleted mail,etc. I got my email straight from obsidian.

Changed email recently, or since you pledged last time? If so the address list may not have been updated to reflect that especially if they built it from addresses associated with KS accounts, or even backer portal if it allowed an email address different from the forum (can't remember if it did).
January 27, 20179 yr I see fair that obsidian gives discounts to previous backers instead of early backers. I've used my 5$ discount right now
January 27, 20179 yr I didn't get the mail, and I'm a backer of PoE. I'm not going to stop backing just for five dirty dollars, but I would like to have the disccount. I checked my mail and spam, I haven't changed it in a long time but still, I see no discount. Does anyone know the criteria to recieve the discount? Thanks.

February 4, 20178 yr I think you may have needed to be subbed to Obsidians own newsletter, not just a backer on kickstarter, to get the email.Either way, it is just 5 dollars. Not exactly a huge deal, it doesn't even cover shipping if you get physical rewards.
