There's gotta be a twist and they can't realistically have Anthony Hopkins for more than a season. I was unsurprised at what the maze was, I always figured Hopkins would turn out to somehow be the 'good guy' although that's debatable. Certainly that he was more interested in the development of the hosts than he was letting on, that was pretty clear from his dialouge with Bernard.

 

I thought they were going more relativist with the ending, you know 'what is consciousness' that kind of thing.  He does it a bit at the end with his speech.

I gotta agree, that was a fantastic moment. Although I have a feeling he will still be around next season.  

 

Of course Ed "Connor" Harris is going to be around for the next season, someone's gotta lead the resistance against the machines... eh, sorry, wrong franchise.  :biggrin:
