Undesirable Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 (edited) This build is now 4k friendly. Race: Coastal Aumaua Class: Monk Background: The Living Lands: Colonist Difficulty: PotD Solo?: Only tested solo PotD against dragons and Mowrghek Îen mobs by warping, leveling and creating items with console (legit stats). I have completed the game solo with a different Monk, but he wasn't as effective against dragons, particularly the Llengrath encounter. This build is effective against all dragon encounters. Game Version Tested: v3.04 Starting Attributes Endgame Attributes: Skills Talents and Abilities: Early to Mid-Game Equipment: Dragonslaying Equipment: Shaolin Dragonslayer vs. Llengrath Test 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzJZ2weDrHE Edited November 6, 2016 by Undesirable 6
Ben No.3 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Sounds interesting, as far as I can judge... would you mind going into greater detail on your strategies? And how did you get through the rest of the game? 1 Everybody knows the deal is rotten Old Black Joe's still pickin' cotton For your ribbons and bows And everybody knows
Undesirable Posted October 30, 2016 Author Posted October 30, 2016 (edited) I haven't been through the entire game with this char yet... I just created him with the console and fought the Sky and Adra Dragons by teleporting him there via console. Strategy is to drink DAoM, PoLDI and War Paint potions, knock the dragon down, kill trash mobs to proc Champion's Boon via Steadfast and then nuke dragon with standard monk attacks, knocking the dragon down again when necessary. I've tried getting to the Bog dragons with the build & equipment above... died to the first encounter in Mowghek Ien. Although I'm not Durganized and I'm not using Caed Nua resting bonus, prostitutes or food. I realize that Moon Monk & dual Bittercuts is more effective for pretty much the entire rest of the game... but wanted to make a specialist build of my own. Edited October 30, 2016 by Undesirable
Undesirable Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) Now I've tested the build against all dragons, and it is successful at killing slaying them all in under 5 minutes. I have also made some tweaks to the build and included more info, including which equipment to use in the early - mid game to be successful. Edited November 6, 2016 by Undesirable
Ben No.3 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) For the endgame resolve.... How is 3+3-4=3?? For the talents and abilities, you have two lvl4 but no lvl2 But looks very nice, good job. I agree with Andrea, excellent presentation Edited November 6, 2016 by Ben No.3 2 Everybody knows the deal is rotten Old Black Joe's still pickin' cotton For your ribbons and bows And everybody knows
AndreaColombo Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Props for the classy presentation and picture with fading contours 3 "Time is not your enemy. I agree with Andrea, excellent presentation I fixed the numerical error in the Talents and Abilities list... guess I can't count. The Resolve error comes from the fact that I forgot to factor in Steadfast's +1 bonus to Resolve. I must've switched to fists when I was counting all the stats up. ;P Edited November 6, 2016 by Undesirable 1
Kaylon Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 What was your strategy for Llengrath's encounter?
Undesirable Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 I'll put a YouTube video up soon with encounters, but since this build can knock dragons down pretty much every time you use Force of Anguish, and can teleport between mobs at will... you can pretty much guess my tactics. Oh, and if I got turned into a pig or rat, I frantically ran around like an idiot until I transformed back. Anyway, I need to get to bed at the moment, I'll write down the strategy in full later and / or post video. 1

Undesirable Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) It's up on the original post at the top, but for some reason you have to disable site protection (turn https off via the padlock icon in the browser bar on this site only) to be able to view the hotlinked YouTube video. m1sk0 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 How did you pierce-proof Blackwarden's Breast? It is corrode-proofed and it says no more enchantments are available...
Boeroer Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 You can only put one proofing on an armor. If it's already corrode-proofed then that's it. You can't remove or overwrite it. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
