doesn't state that they should be procing only from melee attacks.

But at the moment, they do not proc:

- from ranged attacks

- aoes (ex: sacred immolation)

- chants (ex: dragon thrashed)

 

So:

- is the description wrong?

- or, the gloves are bugged?

Dazzling Gauntlets only triggers off melee attacks. I wrote up a report saying the description needs to be updated.  I'll currently looking into the issue if unarmed attacks are not procing daze.

Tests I ran as per the "doesn't proc on unarmed" ticket [1] say it does work on Carnage.

 

Gimme a second to respec so I can confirm Flagellant's Path and TR.

 

 

Final results, with unarmed attacks :

Torment's Reach: no
Force of Anguish: no
Rooting Pain: no
The Long Pain: no
Flagellant's Path: no
Dichotomous Soul clones: no

Yes, those should work with those abilities. Is that not the case?

At the moment:

- it does work with Carnage (armed).

- it does not work with Flagellant's Path. (tested with both armed and unarmed monk). Dazed is not applied to no one.

- it affects only the main target of Torment's Reach (and not everyone who gets hit). But that's because TR is bugged, as reported here.

Deny this, it does NOT proc on Torment Reach's targets, with unarmed attacks.

 

It only does on the primary target, with weapons equipped.

Thanks for the update guys. 

 

I'll include these with the bug I have already written, though I'm sure its because the main issue that unarmed is not trigger daze. I'm pretty sure Rooting Pain should not trigger the daze
