Request:

Throughout the stronghold are containers of various kinds - bookcases, vases, boxes, chests, etc., the majority of which we are unable to select/interact with. This greatly detracts from my ability to roleplay the stronghold as my home. Given that I can pick up such a great variety of goods throughout the world, it only makes sense that I would be able to store them appropriately in my home. Please, make it so that a great majority of containers are usable in the stronghold. It would increase my enjoyment soooo much! Also, while you're at it, please make sorting the containers enjoyable as well. Sorting scrolls by name or level, books alphabetically or by series, e.g., part I, II, III, IV... Please, the more containers, the greater variety, and added sorting/viewing mechanisms would go such a long way!

Thanks! :)

And while you're at it also place some lava and salt lamps...

They'd have to implement containers you can put things in first.

What's a lava lamp inside of a container supposed to do? Wait... Tactical Melt? ;)

I dunno. A few display cases for unique items or even oddities from your travels would be nice. Maybe even a Caed Nua Watcher Museum. Kind of like the museum from PS:T.

PS I hate this tablet's autocorrect.

I already voted for a gallery/museum in the stronghold for all the uniques that you don't use but also don't want to sell. :)

Don't say that. We wouldn't have Rodriguez, Buttercut and Wuthering Strike if we had no autocorrect.  :w00t:

I personally would loath an implementation along the lines of Skyrim. I really just want to press tab, see a blue/grey outline of containers, and be able to select and store my items in them.

I think the stronghold should have a tetris mini game item storage element to it.  You have to decide on what to store and arrange it as it goes down the screen in real time.  If you fail to put an item in the right configuration before it reaches the bottom, you lose it... forevah!

I vote to go back in time and remove the stronghold stuff completely and spend that time somewhere meaningful like gameplay, class abilities, monster variety, balance, etc.

shrug. I like the stronghold. I'm glad it's there. It could use improvements, but not as many as one would suspect from the whining complaints a small vocal group make about it. Now that they've fixed some flaws, I greatly look forward to playing it again.

I actually would prefer to be able to store my stuff (like unics or ingredients) in my stronghold rather than in that infinite, invisible, overpowered and unbelievably convenient stash.

It adds nothing to the game aside from being a gold sink.

The bounties are fine but that guy could easily be changed slightly and put into a tavern somewhere or whatever.

It added to my enjoyment. I imagine at least some others enjoyed it and even more may likely enjoy it with the current improvements. I think the series of bounties buffed up experience too fast for some folks who didn't want to level quite so fast, but I did those and for the most part liked them too. I guess it's one of those mileage may vary things.

Stronghold is a great concept. I like it. As a concept. But it was quite failed in PoE due to the mechanics in it. No interactions, no bound with the game as a whole. The 3.0 patch adds some much needed features. It's a great thing. I will probably enjoy the stronghold more now. Though it's still not enough imo. I wish there would be some random NPCs here and there to add some life in it, too.
