GadgetSun Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I'm confused on what does which for the soul egg thing, End means just stop it yes? and pulse it means to destroy it? Which one frees up the souls? I talked to inca but I didn't really understand her. Aloth ...It should be illegal to be that fine. or adorkable ♥
gkathellar Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Both options will free the souls, but destroying the machine ensures it can never be used again. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
GadgetSun Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Both options will free the souls, but destroying the machine ensures it can never be used again. but doesn't that destroy the souls? that was the one thing I didn't get. Aloth ...It should be illegal to be that fine. or adorkable ♥
gkathellar Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 No, it frees them to return to the cycle. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
Messier-31 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Strange... I was pretty sure that destroying the machine destroys the souls. That they return to the cycle only when stopping the machine. You sure, mate? It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air...

You sure, mate? Hrmm. Google seems to agree with you, but I could have sworn that there was no implication of the souls being destroyed. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
Spirtikus Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Did this part yesterday. Souls are destroyed. Yes, but in the long run its more 'noble' to destroy the machine. Eder: 'Can I pet him?'
zered Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Well yes, it's the safer option. Sacrifice the few to save the many.
Skie Nightfall Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Just eat the souls, you silly! ✔ Certified Bat Food
Messier-31 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Journal entry for stoping the machine: "I turned the machine atop Teir Nowneth off, which means that the souls in Heritage Hill can be returned to the cycle." Journal entry for destroying the machine: "To prevent the machine from ever being used again, I sacrificed the trapped souls of Heritage Hill to destroy the machine." There is of course the third possibility, but enough spoilers It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air...
