  1. Just get a melee fighter/barb/paladin in your back lines when setting the formation, to pick up any unwanted rushes to your back line. This means the enemies need to pass two disengagements at least if they want to reach your squishies.
  2. Tbh, I dont know how can any AI be improved if you dont make it smarter? If you dont make it calculate the risk of disengagement and attacking your squishies? TO me this is a good improvement, makes it a bit more challenging.
  3. Yes, but in the long run its more 'noble' to destroy the machine.
  4. White March will be more like Tales of the Sword Coast than Throne of Bhaal. Yeh, I understand, good comparison. I guess I Just wanted to see what happened after... eh. Maybe in pillars 2
  5. Yes, but you will have to use your save from before the point of no return. So basically, the expansion is... not a sequel to the story, but rather a side thing in the original campaign? Thats a bit... disappointing ;p
  6. Eder, Sagani and Aloth! These guys were awesome. But If I had to chose just one from these three, I would chose Sagani probably.
  7. Maybe a stupid question, but Im interested will I be able to play the expansion with my existing character? I finished the original game.
  8. Dunno, been using Steam for a long time, works fine for me really. And I dont like the white color of GOG, to clean for my style.
  9. Im fairly new to the forums etc so I wanted to ask if we are getting any type of AI for the companions in the next patch? (Somehow I think Iv read that we are) That would be great. At least to have companions auto attack when idle or something basic like that.
  10. Basically those guys are kickstarter backers in-game, with their own stories, you can reach for everyone's soul, but also you don't need to do it. Just a filler to the story.
  11. Thats true. As time passes I even like 2D games more then 3D, suits my eyes more and I dont need a PC that costs a bunch.
  12. Tbh its a bit bad to compare games like DA to POE, considering they are really different games. I enjoyed both, maybe POE a bit more, but thats just because I like this kind of an RPG more. I mean in the last few years, POE was the first game that I invested around 60-70 hours in (thats a lot for me), and that means something. Wishing that Obsidian keeps up the good work. EDIT: just want to add that im that kind of a guy that rarely gives any criticism if the game is good, i just dont enjoy bugged and games that dont work properly
  13. Man, from what you just wrote up... I dont understand why are you even on this forum. It seems you dislike games like pillars.
  14. Buddy... Every thing you mentioned is what sold the game. This style of the game got me to buy it.
  15. Tbh really loving my ranger. Hits like a truck from a back line, while my wolfy goes out and tanks some dmg/does some dmg/meatshield stuff.
  16. Internet gets mad because they need to pay $ for content...
  17. Or...why get paid once when you can get paid twice. Its just split so you can have the content faster. Its one expansion, worth $25 if I remember.
