The arrow hits the initial target then passes straight through to the next target if there is an enemy behind the initial target.  Just as in real life arrows do not fly in a curve.


Actually, my experience with driving flight was that it's not quite that limited.  I think that there's a fairly narrow arc behind the initial target where driving flight can hit additional targets, rather than 100% directly on the extended line of flight of the shot.

^yeah, I've seen arrows change direction after passing through the initial target (in PoE, obviously :p )

There's no indicator as to whether it will on a given shot, though.  (And I don't know if this is an invisible cone with a size affected by INT)


So I think it's just the nearest one 'sort of behind' the target.
