Cas1 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Just wondering why some maps have markers for important places exits but most do not ? I appreciate some people hate these markers but some people do, be good to see markers on all maps with an ON/OFF marker option maybe. 1
Evange Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I want custom markers like in the previous IE games... 2
Vadász Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 My only complaint about map markers is that they appear even before you get the relevant quest or discover them by yourself. 3

navlasop Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Yeah custom map markers was something i felt was missing as well. Especially since this is an old school rpg, so no quest arrows, heh. I might be getting old, but sometimes i was like, where the "bleep" was that npc again.... 1

Yeah or like you do a dungeon but there's a room with too powerful enemies in it, so you put a marker at the entrance and you write "unfinished"

All area is pretty small, and if you keep jumping between quest surely you going to forget where to get back to the NPC you looking for. Edited April 2, 2015 by syarulax
Vortaka Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I would agree with the custom map marker! To leaves notes and stuff... Cannot open a door? Mark it! And when you return, later, you just go back there! 1

wanderon Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I have notes reminding me where there are camping supplies that did not fit in inventory. at least the markers only display text if you mouse over them (in case you want to remain in the dark and find out what it is by going to it) Of course that assumes you have the self control to not mouse over it... 1 Nomadic Wayfarer of the Obsidian Order Not all those that wander are lost...
CarpalTony Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I was unpleasantly surprised the first time I tried to place my own map marker. I guess I didn't even consider that the functionality might not be there. Here's to hoping they patch it in! 1
Gallenger Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I think it's a symptom of playing so many old shooters, but I'm pretty handy at remembering where stuff is the first time I see it - but I was still surprised that I wasn't able to make my own markers. 1
