plenilune Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I made a lv1 Barbarian and the math doesn't add up. 15 - 3 - 3 should be 9, but he has a deflection value of 10. What gives? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=417627522
0 DocDoomII Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Well, technically you can recruit companions in the very first map too, so the stats bug could affect even lvl 1 characters. Maybe. Do you think Pillars of Eternity doesn't have enough Portraits? Submit your vote in this Poll!
0 Annubis Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Sounds like it's rounding up for some reason. Could be how the game also says that there's "1 day and 25 hours left" when something needing 2 days gets started.
0 Whatever6669 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Well, technically you can recruit companions in the very first map too, so the stats bug could affect even lvl 1 characters. Maybe. I created a female barbarian fire godlike yesterday and I noticed a small calculation issue right out of the creation screen! I don't have her stats with me, since I'm at work, but if I recall correctly, they were : 18, 17, 16, 8, 12, 7. Her Fortitude and Reflex defense were alright, but her Deflection and Mental were off 1 point each. Should have been 10 deflection and 18 mental, but she had 11 deflection and 19 mental. Not a really big deal in my opinion, but still a bug nonetheless (well, not compared to the double click bug and the stat boost bug).
0 morhilane Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Some stats get rounded up in the UI because they have decimals. I have no idea why decimal wouldn't be a flat 9.0 though. Azarhal, Chanter and Keeper of Truth of the Obsidian Order of Eternity.
