Others have probably noticed this aswell, but there seems to be some glitch with the ingame font. Whenever there is a lowercase "st" in the game text, there is this odd link above the letters. Really annoying :p

Searched the forums briefly but couldnt find anything on the topic.

It's called "font ligature" and serves the purpose of giving text a more ancient feel.

 

It can be turned on and off in the game's options.

Oh. Well it doesnt look very ancient then... Looks more like a glitch to me. And it only seems to be present with the "st" combination.

Does anyone know if letters like ąśęćńółźż are supported by those ligatures?

Those letters contain diacritics, ligature is combining two letters into one glyph.
