Yeah. I thought Skaen was really refreshing. You have a blood-soaked cult doing unquestionably nasty stuff, but the reasons for the stuff make perfect sense. Plus, it's not like the people they want dead are any better.

Makes me want to play a Skaenite Priest with the Slave background.

Don't expect not to be oppressed by your fellow Skaenites though. They kill everyone apparently - slave or not.

My blog is where I'm keeping a record of all of my suggestions and bug mentions.

I imagine when playing as a Skaenite that the player may run into some conflict of interest once they move into their bourgeois castle.

I know I only join cults when the proper greeting involves stabbings. To each their own?

They really need to do something to make magic more of a 'potent threat' as Josh likes to put it. As it is, most of these mage duels are easily resolved with a musket volley. Those archers with their Bleeding Wounds are a good deal more dangerous.

You are so lucky I cant find a video clip of the climactic battle of that old animated movie "Wizards".

Yeah, I agree. It felt rather random. The only decent setpiece was the final one.

Well Wizards deal a fair amount of cumulative damage. That AoE damage definitely stacks up. They are however, super glass cannons. They're not as fun to fight without their instant protections/super quick insta mirror-images and stuff sad.png

Party wizards are useful, but literally all I do is spam AoE damage - which is really boring compared to playing an IE wizard in mid-late IWD1/IWD2 or BG2.
