Bokishi
11520x2160 gaming is pretty expensive http://blogs.windows.com/windows/b/extremewindows/archive/2013/07/25/pushing-the-12k-pc-gaming-boundary-at-1-5-billion-pixels-per-second.aspx Current 3DMark
alanschu
I just don't dig those three screen panoramas. If I have to start turning my head, I think I'm probably going to prefer something more like the Oculus Rift or some other type of VR headset. Might be different if monitors had minimal borders around their screens.
LadyCrimson
I definitely couldn't sit at chair/desk distance with panorama's like that. I'd get whiplash neck or something. From farther away, it might be fine, but then it would seem too small unless the screens were a lot bigger, which of course means I'd want to sit father away... But regardless, yeah ... expensive, for gaming at least. For 15k+ I'd rather have a hi(ish)-res 60+" TV for film watching, instead. “Things are as they are. ManifestedISO
IMO the idea of multi-monitor setups is to engage your peripheral vision while staring straight ahead. I would think the whole point is to move your eyes, not your head. That 4K setup looks like it was only put together because it could be. All Stop. On Screen. Keyrock
Until they make monitors with MUCH thinner bezels that are actually affordable, I'm not splurging for a multi-monitor setup.
Walsingham
For that much money couldn't you just pay people to let you shoot at them using paintballs? "It wasn't lies. Some people have sort of done that: 1 Quote "All of life’s lessons come with a price… We may learn a lesson, and things may get better in the end… So that’s the trade off…life experience for exhaustion… wisdom for innocence. syn2083
i was never a fan of multi monitor gaming, the borders kill it mostly for me, seeing giant black lines between screens is to jarring for me.. and beyond that the cost of this setup is ridiculous. -Crash the silence for the sake of memory- Computer Problems or Questions?
