Kaftan Barlast
Maryland/Virginia isnt even remotely desert-ish. Fallout must always be set in a desert. Fallout anywhere else is like sci-fi that's not in space. Lexx
No. This. If it would be me, someone should place a black hole generator at the east coast to remove it completely from the (game)earth. sorophx
New Vegas=Capital Wasteland don't you yourself see the conflict in your words? you should ask Bethesda to release a Fallout 3 DLC, probably. or did you mean you wanted to see Obsidian do a chapter based in DC? not going to happen, in their own words, Bethesda ruined the region by fiddling with lore too much, there's no going back Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. And having been educated solely by mkreku in this respect I am convinced that Finland essentially IS the wh40k universe.
Tigranes
We know that Bethesda asked Obsidian not to touch certain areas or ideas, in case they make use of them later on. We cn assume that going back to the DC area would fall under this 'no-go' area. Lexx
For me, Fallout always has been kind of a sci-fi western. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
sorophx
Fallout in Europe would be cool. oh, wait, I've said that numerous times now Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. Majek
And the first quest in Fallout: Europe would be assemble an universal translator right? and pick your space where life could still be found after a nuclear war in Europe. Walsingham
I was thinking this morning that the key to Fallout is the styling. What could be more stylish than Europe a la 1940s? Europe is supposed to be at war with the Mideast, right? Over resources. So you have the game start with - I don't know - two warring US agglomerates looking for European allies. Action moves between the entirely subterranean London-Paris axis (which has hidden conflicts), and the Hungarian-Serbian-Italian coastal empire. "It wasn't lies. Walsingham
Hungary and coast doesn't really go together. And i should know given my geographical location. That sort of area. Maybe a bit steampunky, even. Steam would be good post-apocalyptical. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe.
