In New Vegas you can get extra stuff from others that you have helped out if a particular skill is high enough. Is this okay? They've already rewarded you, are you entitled to ask for more stuff(the lines associated with these are usually lies or harsh statements) I haven't left the first town yet so I don't know if it changes.(I never used these and I wanted to give some of the stuff I got when asking for more supplies to help deal with an invading force.) How about in real life?

If you're in business, you ask people for payment. If you're just helping someone, you're not supposed to ask for anything in return.

RPG's always have these.

Ultimitatly, it's your chaarcter's moral code that will help you decide. Or your own if you do not know how to reply.

Right!!!!

I never take stuff marked in red.(doubt there any consequences) Even in hard modes there isn't alot of scarcity.

I wouldn't say you ask for it, but if you play well with others you often get extras without asking.

I call it reciprocity.

Bribery is doing something for someone with the intent of getting something in return, which is not what I am talking about.
