Oerwinde Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Ok, what are the other 5? The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Rostere Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 <3 Paradox <3 "Well, overkill is my middle name. And my last name. And all of my other names as well!"
Pidesco Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Awesomeness. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
lord of flies Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I look forward to playing the open beta of Victoria 2 when it comes out Q2 2010, when the capitalists only build in AI countries and creating puppet states crashes the game.
Tigranes Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Never got to try HoI or Victoria, always been an EU man.. should get into this maybe. I've only heard good things about Vicky. Kind of surprised Paradox are doing this though, are those games so commercially successful they can justify this? Especially the third one - seems kind of weak. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
Gorth Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Kind of surprised Paradox are doing this though, are those games so commercially successful they can justify this? Especially the third one - seems kind of weak. If the third one is "just" an old game with a user mod and sold through their own online distribution, there isn't exactly a lot of cost involved As for the rest, loving both EUIII and Victoria, all I can say is “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
Llyranor Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 From what I understand, For the Glory is based off of EU2 because it'll be more historically-minded. Apparently some people didn't like that EU3 was so open-ended in terms of what you could do. I guess that's what the '10000 historical events' are for. Not sure how interested I am in that one. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Oerwinde Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I love paradox for the simple fact that the EU3 expansion is made up of pretty much 100% fan suggestions. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Aristes Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I forsee buying Victoria in the near future. That and EU3. Stopped at EU2, but now I'm jonsin' again.
Oerwinde Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 One of the devs in the Vicky 2 forums that Vicky2 will be based on HoI3. Based on that statement I will not be buying it as I didn't like HoI3 at all. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
