September 15, 200916 yr Sadly, that's the best 'broadband' available here- theoretically it is actually a 3.2mbps connection...
September 21, 200916 yr Surfing the internet is non-existant. Had three computers downloading hogging all the bandwidth and all I heard from the g/f was 'ARE YOU DOWNLOADING??? YOUR STUPIDITY IS GOING TO KILL ME!!''
September 21, 200916 yr Posting after Hiro makes me feel better. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.
September 21, 200916 yr Posting from school. I'm using the wireless network, but I've only got 1 bar in the classroom. Giant concrete box is apparently not very good for signal strength 0.32 down/0.11 down Edited September 21, 200916 yr by Deraldin
September 29, 200916 yr Moved to a new house and changed ISPs. Had broadband at my previous place but three computers downloading hogged all the bandwidth. With the same computers this is my new speed. So much better.
September 29, 200916 yr Author 0.0 MBs MB/min is also okay, a little internet is better than no internet, right?
September 29, 200916 yr Indeed. Borrow from a friend, library or what ever. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
October 13, 200916 yr Just moved looks like I lost some speed. Dumped Verizon, terrible customer service and sloooooooow, and constant interrupted connection. Can't wait to call and drop their ass Edited October 13, 200916 yr by Kelverin J1 Visa Southern California Cleaning
October 13, 200916 yr All the major ISPs around here suck. Faster would be nice, but I'd hate to give any of them more of our money. Edit: Except for Hurlshot's Wildblue, my Sympatico is tied with Kor's Telus for lowest ISP rating at 2.6. Woo! Go us! My ping to that server has almost tripled and my speed has increased a little bit. Bell did something to our line today and it's a little bit faster than before. It's more noticeable on the wired connection where we've got a full 5Mb/s down!
October 13, 200916 yr I have high speeds too, but bad ping due to wireless If I really, really wanted to, I could probably run a wire from the router in the next room, but it would require moving a lot of furniture to hide it along the wall. I'm just thankful I've got an extra WRT54G around that I could load up with DD-WRT and use as a bridge. Edited October 13, 200916 yr by Deraldin

October 14, 200916 yr As long as you can make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. We've made it in less, Alan! Ah, those were the days...
October 16, 200916 yr Your connection was probably changed to interleaved to improve stability. They called us yesterday afternoon to inform us that we had been switched to a slower profile in order to improve stability on our line. At the moment we're having more problems than we had before they played with it. In the 2 days since we've been switched over we have had our connection dwindle to nothing (0.15Mbps up, 0.5 down) three times. We've had this issue with our service for quite some time, but power cycling the router/modem sets everything back to normal so it hasn't been enough to get us to do anything since it was infrequent enough to not be a bother. 3 times in 2 days is pushing it however. Been checking out some options. One of the local telecoms offers ADSL2+ in the area and we're within 2km of the CO. As a bonus they don't throttle and have no bandwidth caps. Need to look into this a little more. Edited October 16, 200916 yr by Deraldin
