February 12, 201015 yr Ah, yes...Phantasmagoria. Along with 7th Guest and Eleventh Hour, it made up the Unholy Triad of 90s-Kitchy Point-and-Spook Adventure Games. Now Sanitarium was a REAL man's old-skool horror adventure. Edited February 12, 201015 yr by jaguars4ever
February 13, 201015 yr Sanitarium. Loved the demo but never saw the finished product. Wow. 16 pages and no one mentions XCom? XCom: UFO Defense was the first and best. Turn based squad tactics XCom: Terror from the deep got a little weird going under water but it "Old School Fallout Fan" "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a mushroom cloud to walk into. February 13, 201015 yr Wow. 16 pages and no one mentions XCom? That's because XComs aren't in Good Old Games. If you aren't yet familiar with the site, go have a look, the place is great.

Yea, I get your point but I still thought it was worth a mention. "Old School Fallout Fan" "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a mushroom cloud to walk into. Have A Happy Holocaust." The Club House Mod
February 14, 201015 yr TA falls under Atari and Take2 has the rights to X-Com so who knows if we'll ever get them on GOG. 1.13 killed off Ja2.
February 14, 201015 yr XCOM is weird because they are on all the other DD services except GOG. And it isn't a drm thing either as even the Steam version doesn't have a wrapper on it.
February 18, 201015 yr Cesar III and Interstate '76 Arsenal are this weeks releases Imperium Thought for the Day: Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life
February 18, 201015 yr I loved Caesar III, when I was a kid I couldn't quite get into Sim City for some reason and it was the first sim/management game I ever played. I think I played it to death, but I'm still tempted to pick it up... Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
February 18, 201015 yr I always liked Pharaoh more. Imperium Thought for the Day: Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life
February 19, 201015 yr Caesar III is basically THE classic citybuilding game for me. It's a pity I already own it. "Well, overkill is my middle name. And my last name. And all of my other names as well!"
February 19, 201015 yr Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity are on sale. "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot
February 19, 201015 yr I have Divine Divinity. Good for an action RPG. Imperium Thought for the Day: Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life
February 20, 201015 yr Currently downloading the M&M I-VI pack. This is going to be a nostalgia trip-- M&M I was my first ever CRPG (first played on my uncle's C64 when I was about 8 ). I actually have the CD version of this somewhere, but $9.99 is worth the avoiding the hassle of finding it and getting it to run on a modern OS. ... And the download is finished. All 6 games took a grand total of 4 minutes-- technological progress is an amazing thing. Edited February 20, 201015 yr by Enoch
February 21, 201015 yr The Mortal Kombat series and Doom series = kick ass early 90s games. Again, do you even try to read the tread? This is about the website Good Old Games and not good old games in general. "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot

February 21, 201015 yr Good Old Games is capitalized, which pretty obviously refers to the website, as do 95% of the posts in here.

February 22, 201015 yr @Nihilus5078: Are you a h4wt chick? If so, all is forgiven. If I remember correctly, he is a 14 years old guy. Tough luck Jags, better luck next time.
February 22, 201015 yr I've finally got GOG's The Longest Journey to work on Windows 7. Having played the sequel first, the graphics look pretty dated, but still beautiful landscapes - wonder if I can make the AA work somehow. Typically, I'm stuck on the very first puzzle, but it should be good. I'll wait for what they pull out of the bag this week or whatnot, but might end up getting Caesar 3 anyway. February 22, 201015 yr You should be able to force AA from your graphics card control panel. TLJ is great and yes the first puzzle is pretty crazy.
