NWN2 problem

Ok, I managed to get rid of the script problem but the other one I had still remains: some enemies simply disappear and the only thing I can find is their loot without even having to fight them! For example, this happened when I was supposed to fight the grey dwarves on the ground floor of my character's house or the dwarves I was supposed to fight in Bevil's house. The same thing happened in the swamps with the lizardfolk that were carrying greatswords: they were nowhere to be seen. All I could see were some loot bags at the place they were supposed to stand with the greatswords within them.

Really weird bug...

Mmm, maybe you are right... The good thing is that those mods are just files that I put in my override folder, so it's easy getting rid of them...

Now, which ones should I keep? Here are the ones I have installed:

ECL removed for races

Dangerous resting

No more story prerequisites for nw9 and shadow thief prestige classes

TonyHawk improvedAI

Some Soz script fixes

Some Spell and feat fixes

Don't ask me, I'm not really into the NWN2 mod scene. Just move/rename them all and if it works put them back one by one.

Ok, I take back whatever I said about Obsidian. As an experiment, I emptied my Override folder and everything was working fine including the graphical glitches (except for the "horizon issue" though)! I have to find out what files may be causing this...

UPDATE:

So, the two mods that were the source of all my problems were the following:

-Impartial gender flirting pack

-ECL removed for races

Moral of the story: avoid installing unnecessary things...

I am planning my character for MotB. I am thinking of a Cleric 15 / Warlock 15. Is that a build that would work?

Anything that doesn't require resting will save you A LOT of frustration. Also the evil ending is really awesome and satisfying, so don't go all goody-two-shoes because that's what you always do.

I was a straight up Warlock and it worked pretty well.

Huh? Most of my party is made of spellcasters anyway (the red wizard, the spirit shaman and the cleric), so it won't change much if I add another character that has limited-uses per day abilities... Thanks for the tip, btw...

I just wanted to try something fresh and a cleric/warlock combo seems quite promising... It's just that I have never played a warlock before and do not know if it is even worth taking levels in this class... They don't look that strong to me, that is why I am trying to find some cool combo...

Warlocks are awesome. Play for a while and you'll see why resting might be an issue.

No idea about the Cleric/Warlock, doesn't really scream like that great of a multiclass, also who needs 2 clerics?

I forget... aren't there Stones of Alarm in MOTB?

No, they were in SoZ.

I'm talking about the Spirit Meter and it's tendency to leave you with very little energy after resting.

Never had a problem with it. I never play evil. :sorcerer:

Pansy. It's just a game, for heaven's sake.

tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.

I got annoyed at the notion that suppressing makes you good. I only did it because of my character's monumental ego. He just didn't like giving in.
