The Witcher Character Builds

I've tried looking around the internets but I was wondering if anyone has any kind of good character builds. Did most people just kind of upgrade everything or just focus on a few things and get those really strong? Help.

There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

Aard sign is also great.

I don't recall that I really had a problem with not having enough talents to do what I wanted. I found fast styles the most useful and prioritized them. I never used group styles so I didn't bother with those. Stamina and health, resistance to stun and knockdown.

There's really not a huge vartiety of ways to go.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

I always ended up using group style more than anything because later in the game you are always fighting armadas of enemies.

I always found that the fast style worked well enough against groups that there wasn't any need to bother developing the group style.

Is a character who is focused only on magic able to finnish the game, or do i have to make a hybrid? (never finnished it so far :ermm:)

Read the spoiler I posted up there. I wouldn't be surprised if you only need to specialize in two magics (igni + another) to be able to win the game.

I think I melee'd my way through the entire game. Used the signs sparingly (of course I wasn't on a harder difficulty)

Last time around I ignored silver styles and built up aard and igeni instead. Also planned on building up the rest of the signs with the points I had in spare, but they turned out to be as useless as I had feared, so I stopped. Lots of points in endurance meant I could win fights without using my sword except between aard or igeni being charged up.

Igeni is perhaps too good though, winning fights using only that sign got to be boring.

Na na  na na  na na  ...

greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER.

That is all.
