I like the 49'ers at home tonight. Everything points to bears win, they match up well against SF, they have won the last four games against the niners, but this years the Bears are 1-3 on the road and the Niners are a team on the rise, not decline. I'm taking the Niners for the win.

Ah, yes, I forgot that the Thursday games start this week. I'll take the Bears.

Actually, I'm changing my mind on this one. Upon reflection, I don't trust Chicago's OL or Secondary at all. The Niners are the pick.

As a Niners fan, I'm not really they can win with Alex Smith. It's been a disturbing slide the last four games. They've been in it for the first half and then they've simply crumbled. They actually had half time leads against the Colts and the Titans. But who knows? I'll watch it with one eye closed.

That was... just the worst football game I've watched since... I don't even know. Maybe since that 3-0 Monday night Replacement Rams win over the Replacement Bears in the strike year. Seven turn overs, nineteen penalites, The absolute inability of the 49ers to do ANYTHING in the Red Zone (including getting there despite 350 yds of offense). Every man on both those teams should hang their heads in shame. But especially Cutler because five picks in one game... man thats really something. Especially that comeback killing one in the endzone at the end. But come on Coach Singletary, if your team gets five picks in a game shouldn't you have a little more to show for it than ONE MEASLY FIELD GOAL? If you get five picks you should at least win by double digits not four points!

You know who walks away from this looking like a freaking genius in Enoch, who had the good sense or possibly premonition to change his vote. Thats like deciding to take a cab on the day the train wreck happened. (Not the same scale of course)

Yep, that was bad. Cutler pretty much sunk his team, it's hard to blame anyone else for the Bears loss. He seemed to have enough time to make plays, he got 350 yards passing, but he just kept turning it over. The 49ers defense was great, they created a couple of the turn overs, but I'd say three were just terrible decisions by Cutler.

I still have no faith in Alex Smith though. I suppose the offensive line for the 49ers is more to blame than anything else, though.

Attention all: At the risk of blowing my week I am changing my pick on the Saints - Bucs game . A little bird told me that with Bush and Ellis out, Drew Brees suffering a personal tragedy, and Tampa finally playing good football, the Bucs are ready to pull off the upset of the season!

Buccaneers for the win!

Hmmm. In hindsight this really wasn't such a good move was it?

"I cannot profess to be a theologian; but it seems to me that Christians who believe in a super human Satan have got themselves into a logical impasse with regard to their own religion. For either God can not prevent the mischief of Satan, in which case he is not omnipotent; or else He could do so if he wished, but will not, in which case He is not benevolent. Fortunately, being a pagan witch, I am not called upon to solve this problem."
