Matthew Rorie
A new Atlus dungeon-crawler. http://www.atlus.com/darkspire/ Even has a "classic mode" where you can switch on what appear to be vector graphics. Matthew Rorie
Gorth
Wow, haven't seen so much awesomness since my C64 days Unfortunately, I don't have a Nintendo DS “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. samm
Unfortunately, I don't have a Nintendo DS This game is the final thing it took to convince me to get one - a DS Lite that is, as the DSi will include region coding... Only 140 $ (canadian), half as expensive as it is here O_o Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
Gorgon
I've got a DS lite, but I keep expecting the games to be really really cheap, when in fact they are not, so I only have two games for it. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
J.E. Sawyer
One of the enemies is a Karnovski. It looks like a fat dude that breathes fire. Awesome. twitter tyme

samm
Yeah, that's why I'll order them from Canada - prices over here are ridiculous (about 65 USD). Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
LadyCrimson
I don't have the system either, but I'd be tempted to buy one just to check this game out. “Things are as they are. Amentep
w00t! Old school goodness! Hopefully my schedule will be freed up in March 09! I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
Llyranor
If you like dungeon crawlers, Etrian Odyssey 1 and 2 (also Atlus) have pretty old-school gameplay. You even have to draw your own maps. Though it has girly anime art, so not for manly men. (SUCCESS made this game, Atlus is publishing/localizing) Here's a bunch of stuff Japanese trailer Battle video http://www.success-corp.co.jp/software/ds/...system0103.html Dungeon video http://www.success-corp.co.jp/software/ds/...system0101.html Character creation video http://www.success-corp.co.jp/software/ds/...system0201.html Music samples http://www.success-corp.co.jp/software/ds/...wnload_bgm.html (arranged on left, original on right) Edited December 22, 2008 by Llyranor (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Amentep
I got Etrian Odyssey 2, but I didn't like how it seemed to want to force me to have some of every job class to finish quests and move forward plus I got kinda bored with it. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Llyranor
(yeah, I kind of got bored with EO1 as I got near the end-game and traded it away) (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Amentep
It was a neat game, but not as good as I'd hoped. Hopefully The Dark Spire will be more to my liking! I cannot - yet I must. Llyranor
That depends on whether it'll be full of repetitive battles that play mostly the same, being based mostly on endurance rather than actual tactics in battle.
