Jaesun Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Not that great, but better than his travel videos... I can't wait for everyone here to lose their collective crap over the inevitable DA review Yeah, looking forward to that review. Purkake Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) This is it ladies and gentlemen: The long awaited Dragon Age review featuring this guy: And apparently Jessica Alba. Oh, it's pretty funny and true as well. *queue the rage* Edited November 18, 2009 by Purkake
Guest Slinky Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 That was the very first yahtzee review I have seen. Does that guy get oxygen straight to vein or what the hell
alanschu Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 He admits he edits the audio to remove his gasps for breath
Purkake Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) He cuts the breathing out. Check out the earlier ones, especially Bioshock, Crysis and Sonic Unleashed Edit: Beaten like a dead hooker. EDIT2: And of course the Duke Nukem Forever one. Edited November 18, 2009 by Purkake
Slowtrain Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 *queue the rage* Why? He liked it. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.
Purkake Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 But I want rage! He did first take a dump on the whole fantasy RPG thing.(Which I totally agree with, but I can see some Biowarians going all rage-y over that)

Malcador Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Well that DA review was a bit of a waste. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

He did first take a dump on the whole fantasy RPG thing.(Which I totally agree with, but I can see some Biowarians going all rage-y over that) Yeah, he kinda put down the concept of High Fantasy/Dark Fantasy, fantasy in general. But his review of the actual game was quite positive. I'm amazed he actually spent 25 hours on the game. That's gotta be some kind of record for him and crpgs. Purkake Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Possibly, or maybe he used it as an excuse to not play MW2
Calax Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Interestingly I just noticed in the bioshock review that when he mentions steam powered turrets, he shows a gun turret with the steam logo on it Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Purkake Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Yeah, he's crafty like that. Re-watching the videos, I always find something new and clever hidden somewhere.
