Nick_i_am Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 (edited) Walkerguy is relevent! Like Halo 2. Edited August 4, 2008 by Nick_i_am (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Gfted1 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 My 360 RRoD'd. Im curious. I was under the impression that the RRoD problem pretty much went away after some fixes were made and a new generation of the system came out. Did you get RRoDed on a new generation or did you get lucky this whole time on an original generation system? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
thepixiesrock Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I have a newer system, and it Red Ringed once, but I just restarted the console and it was fine. So it might have been like, a disk problem or soemthing, I don't know. But I haven't had any other rpoblems besides the one time. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
Nick_i_am Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 the 'RRoD' is only for 3 lights on the ring, there's an issue with some newer 360s that causes only one red light to show. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Gfted1 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Then its only 1/3 dead? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Llyranor Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I just RRoD'ed too! That's 4 times now (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Hell Kitty Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I had a 4 light red ring once. The av cable wasn't plugged in properly. Nervewracking stuff.
Tale Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I'll be buying an Elite tomorrow. Really don't like the expensive HDDs with the proprietary case, but 20GB won't cut it for me. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
mkreku Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I just RRoD'ed too! That's 4 times now Are you serious or are you joking..? Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Llyranor Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Oh, man! I just RRoD'ed AGAIN. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Nick_i_am Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I just RRoD'ed TWICE! In the same minute! I like how Halo makes it really obvious as to who has aspergers. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Llyranor Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Everyone playing Halo? (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Sand Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Everyone playing Halo? I played Halo once. I didn't like it. Nick_i_am Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 It's obviously not 100% effective. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Sand Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I'll be buying an Elite tomorrow. Really don't like the expensive HDDs with the proprietary case, but 20GB won't cut it for me. Especially when the new "GUI" is coming this fall. It will allow users to install games right on the harddrive, like a PC, instead of playing them on disc. Imagine... Lost Odyssey without the annoying disc changing. Sand Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Oh, man! I just RRoD'ed AGAIN. You should change your name to RRoDkill. HA! Tale Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Apparently the Pro is just around the corner. So I think I'll be waiting for that. Save $100, more reliable chipset, and not having to worry about the pathetic 20 GB HDD. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Nick_i_am Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 (edited) http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/08/05/co...pany-this-week/ Ooops, I lied, it's still not relevent. Imagine... Lost Odyssey without the annoying disc changing. Yeah man, that's 20 seconds of my life i'm never getting back. Edited August 5, 2008 by Nick_i_am (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

There's no way they'd ever let you play without the discs. Edited August 5, 2008 by Tale "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Nick_i_am Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Yeah, they've said that much, it'll just ease loading times. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Sand Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 It is one step closer PCifying the XBox 360! Let us install Vista on the XBox 360! You know, someone did install it on a PS3. Once installed it took the guy 12 minutes to open Notepad. http://gizmodo.com/5033157/mojave-experime...s-playstation-3 Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" Tale Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I decided on Lost Odyssey and Halo 3. Goodbye $500! I barely knew ye. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Nick_i_am Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 You going to sign up for live? Because if not I honestly can't recomend Halo 3 as a singleplayer game, and i'm a fan. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Bokishi Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Halo 3 singleplayer was meh and the graphics stunk in the later levels Current 3DMark
Llyranor Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Dude, stay away from Halo3 unless you have any interest in co-op or PvP. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
