Nick_i_am Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 So saying 'as if' to america suppling insergants with weapons is kinda funny when they've already done it. Same goes with the CIA training of Bin Ladin, it's all very well saying that the US shouldn't have meddled in old conflicts but this situation extends far further than the american invasion of Iraq or the jewish occupation of Israil. I mean full cooperation as in heres some nukes straight up no catches everyone fully aware. The CIA, sad, sad... As for jewish occupation??? Israel has always belonged to the Jews. If you mean "officially"and the wars since the "official" 1948 "creation of Israel" then yes, it extends much farther. The problem with my argument is that the Jews havn't always lived in Israel. That is also exactly one of the major problems of the region. Twitter | @Insevin

Walsingham Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 An independent Kosovo was always going to be a problem. Hard for NATO to defend, easy for Serbia to take at least with Russian backing). But when Kosovars appealed to the West for aid it would have looked very bad to deny it to them. There's a lot of Eastern European countries looking nervously at a resurgent Russia and wondering if we will back them up. "It wasn't lies. walkerguy Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Yes America does belong to Native Americans. Israel belongs to Jews. What about it? No one gets their land they're all nicely screwed. Well, not quite. The indians are rich with Casinos now and Jews are getting over on the rebels in Israel. Its all good. Yes, we would have been politically incorrect to reject aid to Balkans. The Soviet Union created that term to help spread their communist propoganda during WWI. The US has done terrible things because it didn't want to be politically incorrect. Remember that. Deadly_Nightshade Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Israel belongs to Jews. Really? I thought the Israelites abandoned their land in favor of some acreage in Egypt, thus opening it up for other peoples... "Geez. Meshugger Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 Seems like people are wanting to compare Serbia/Kosovo to Israel/Palestine. Pretty much wrong. The issues surrounding the respective countries is much more complicated than that. The thing that they remotely have in common is that the conflict will probably last very long, even to the point of being almost unsolvable. Dark_Raven Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Might is right. If you are weak and can not defend your land, than a superior force will take it from you. Survival of the fittest 101. It sucks for those weaker people but thats life in the fast lane. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
