March 29, 200817 yr Out of those, I think only Middle-Earth is actually more loved than the Forgotten Realms. Potter too, but that's just set in England, isn't it?
March 29, 200817 yr No, I'm quite sure about WoT is at least be equal to Forgotten Realms Yeah, in google fight WOT crushes FR How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
March 30, 200817 yr Admittedly, that could just be thanks to "wheel" and "time" being a lot more common words than "forgotten" and especially "realms". kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
March 30, 200817 yr WoT series sells ****loads of books every year. And even though DnD is biggest player in the field it has, what, 2 million players? And not all of those play FR anyway How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)

April 1, 200817 yr Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. ****. Sells well. Kinda like Salvatore How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
April 6, 200817 yr how about a warhammer 40k rpg? How about "hell yeah"? Amen Brotha! Using a gamepad to control an FPS is like trying to fight evil through maple syrup.
April 23, 200817 yr I don't mind more FR-set games. By my book FR games (and books) have only seemed boring and generic because writers and devs "just can't quit" the goddamn Sword Coast. Even in 4E, according to recent articles at Wizards.com, the Sword Coast will largely be the same as it was in 3E. And AD&D. That's generic TO THE MAX. MotB's environs and setting proved that interesting things can be wrung out of this most Tolkien-esque of D&D settings. How about a game set in Kara-Tur? In Abeir (the sister-continent of Toril that replaces Maztica in 4E)? In the Empire of Shade? In Chult? There's much to explore in the Realms, it's just that we haven't gone far enough into them.
April 24, 200817 yr the sword coast probably because the devs have a lot of material to draw from (through the many games based there). it's familiar, almost like brand recognition for marketing purposes, too. taks comrade taks... just because.
