I want to see Obsidian work on a Doctor Who game!

 

Doctor Who could make an interesting adventure game. A horrible anything else. Except maybe a MP only Dalek vs. Cyberman shooter, but that would only have so much novelty value keeping that from being terrible.

You're right, it would take a very worthy studio to make good use of the Doctor Who franchise.

Although my first option is KOTOR 3, I would love that Obsidian to make a game about the Cthulhu Mythology from the master H. P. Lovecraft.

I'd go with KotOR3, and since Obsidian have said they'd like to work on it, everybody's happy. When are we due the next round of Kotor3 rumours, anyway? It must be soon.

 

I agree, very difficult to make a Doctor Who game, and I'd probably ask Revolution to do it rather than Obsidian.

I don't think that NWN2's expansion pack should count as third. It even isn't even named in style of "main projects" aka Project NX1 (Neverwinte Expansion 1 I guess).

 

Since Aliens and PG are multiplatform games that third one SHOULD be "pure pc" one. Aliens = PC and consoles, PG = Consoles, X = PC

 

However, I haven't heard that PG would be console only, so it is possible Obsidian doesn't always follow their "rules".

 

Now, what I'm trying to say is that there is small possibilty Obz might be working on K3. Very small, but still.

Recently Lucas Fan Network (LFN) owners Aristotle and Visac were interviewed by StarWarsKnights.com where they had the chance of describing their working relationship with Lucasarts and their unique opportunity of previewing upcoming Star Wars releases.

 

When asked about the possibility of seeing Kotor 3 soon, both men denied making any comments about it since they are bound by Lucasarts Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). At the same time, they didn’t deny its existence and added that more information will be available soon.

 

Now, whole fact they didn't deny its existence doesn't mean anything, thanks to NDA. However, I guess that latter part could be called as sort of a slip.

 

Why there would be more information coming up about something that does not exist?

Of course, other options are that Bioware's "Next Generation RPG" (they already broke their oath with Sonic, BAH) and that LA would do it all by themselves which is plain scary

I don't think LA would do it in-house, not with their recent financial troubles. They said they're cutting it down to 2 (or thereabouts) games a year. There's a new SW action game, and isn't there another lego game on the horizon?
