Its funny that you mention your character acts like a childish bully until he becomes a sith lord. Especially since the majority of sith jedi's on Korriban act like retard bullies in the 5th grade. Playing evil characters in Bioware games has always been painful, KotOR is not exception. Until a developer tries to capture intent and motive, I don't think you can capture a good evil character. I think this was done to some extent in PS:T giving you the option to say good stuff, however, it being prefaced as a lie.

That's true, but I was thinking more of Uthar Wynn and Yuthura Ban. They were very well written. If all Sith masters were like those I'd join them in an instant.

Childish threats and taunts I can do without.

It would have worked better if they hadn't dropped so many clues.

 

The moment Carth babbles about how the force can wipe your mind I knew something was up. There were so many clues I would have been more surprised if I hadn't been Revan in a past life.

The really blatant clue has got to be Vrook's "What if we train him and Revan comes back" line. When I got to that on my second play, I was acutely embarassed that I missed the clue before.

How odd... I never got a clue like that.

That line gives it away really. It is an obvious clue. I suspected that he was still alive at that point but never guessed that you are Revan.

if you were really a former sith lord, why the hell didn't more people take one look at you and run away screaming? at the very least, there should have been a hell of a lot more blanching and folks unwilling to look you in the eye (however you communicate that in a CRPG). i mean if hitler had his mind wiped, you don't think he would be able to join the British army as a private without anyone commenting? "bloody hell Higgins, you're the spitting image of that Furher chap who disappeared mysteriously last month! and what's with the german accent?"

Ah, but it wasn't any ol' mask... it was a +10 Sith Mask of Hiding Your Identity :D

I thought the mask looked cool, at the time I thought it was a tribute to vader more than anything else.

That didn't bug me so much -- I don't see Jedi as really going in for Meet the Press appearances or whatever the SW equivalent would be. I couldn't pick Tommy Franks out of a police lineup today, and I doubt I'd do any better with a pre-mask Revan.

I would, its not too hard with those eyes and hair style.

Very many, alan. Maybe if he cut his hair (or grew it), dyed it, changed hairstyle, put on lots of cosmetics, shaved off his trademark moustache, then held himself differently.

I don't see how; they aren't publishing the game.

 

The only reason the first KOTOR came out on X-Box first was because they needed more time to get the PC version optimized. Since they're reusing the game engine, they don't need to do all that extra work.

Personally I found the weak minded wookiee to be very handy especially when it came time to kill Mission. Having a wookiee who does what he's told at your side is a good thing mainly when you want somebody's arms riped from their sockets. On the other hand he was a bloody bore as far as conversation goes but in his defence at least he wasn't an over preachy wind bag like Jolee.
