Qwerty the Sir Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Some of the oddest scoring trends have been going on this year. Roughly 75% of games are the low scoring affairs we saw in the dead puck era, but then there are many of these blowouts and 10+ goal games...
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Wow, the Oilers are getting schooled by Vancouver, again. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Draken Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 haha hahahhah corrrey oilers tanked again. to bad coglino spoiled the shutout. andit doesnt make up for the philly game still good woo Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
mkreku Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Stupid Crosby. Why does he have to wake up against MY team?! Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Guest Accept Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 (edited) The Sedin-brothers have produced 31 points the last 10 games against the Oilers. Wow. Edited October 14, 2007 by Accept
mkreku Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 You know you cheer for a bad team when only losing 5-4 in overtime feels like a victory.. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Qwerty the Sir Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 You know you cheer for a bad team when only losing 5-4 in overtime feels like a victory.. Heh, to be fair, Toronto played pretty well that game, Buffalo just decided to act like Chicago (now there's a team that steals wins :D).
Hurlshort Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Toskala would have won the game for Toronto
Deraldin Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 You know you cheer for a bad team when only losing 5-4 in overtime feels like a victory.. I can imagine that would have been pretty demoralizing for Toronto fans. 4 seconds left in OT before the shootout and it goes into the net off McCabe's stick.
Qwerty the Sir Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Toskala would have won the game for Toronto I remember right before the Leads lost 7-1 to the Canes, there was a article on TSN on how Toskala quieted all doubts. Then of course, after that game, Toronto won 8-1. :D
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I watched the first half of the Leafs / Sabres game. Raycroft was the difference. Damn, even Hal Gill wasn't horrible. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) I can't believe that the Montreal-Florida game is still only 1-0. Vokoun has just been absolutely dominating tonight. Bouwmeester also saved a sure goal when Vokoun was totally out of position. EDIT: Oh ****ing hell... 10.2 seconds from getting that shutout. Florida doesn't deserve a point tonight, but they have one so far. Edited October 17, 2007 by Deraldin
Qwerty the Sir Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Oh boy, these last minute goals are great! Hopefully Koivu gets the gamewinner in OT, helps the fantasy team.
Deraldin Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) Oh boy, these last minute goals are great! Hopefully Koivu gets the gamewinner in OT, helps the fantasy team. No, these last minute goals are not great. EDIT: I... I... ****ing hell... Edited October 17, 2007 by Deraldin
Qwerty the Sir Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Yeah, I know what you mean, I was just watching this game on-off as a neutral observer, and Chicago, which is kinda the team I'm pulling for this season, won basically every game with these come from behind/last minute goals, but it always sucks having it happen to your team. I'm now sad that Koivu didn't score.

Kor Qel Droma Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 And now Souray is out with a seperated shoulder. This may be a long season. G'Oilers? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
mkreku Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 A much needed win for the Leafs! Good to see they can win against mid-range teams at least. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Well, my team won last night as well against the 'Yotes, but we really weren't deserving of the win. We were outshot something like 40 to 19. Against Pheonix! This does not bode well for Calgary on Saturday night. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Hurlshort Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I like the way Boston is playing this season. They look hunfry and desperate, and Thomas is playing surprisingly well in goal. If they keep it up, I think they'll manage a playoff appearance.
Qwerty the Sir Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 (edited) A very nice goal by Toews; reminds me of very similar ones by Lecavalier and St. Louis (and those were among their career best). Of course, having the Colorado announcer call makes everything so much better. I'm upset that Chicago blew a 3 goal lead, but Robert Lang will probably win the game with a harmless looking play like he always does. Edited October 20, 2007 by Qwerty the Sir
Hurlshort Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Wow, Toews is a talented kid. He'll definitely be a top goal scorer in the upcming years. He also might be the frontrunner for rookie of the year honors.
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 That goal by Toews was jaw droppingly good, that's for sure. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
