mkreku Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Zetterberg didn't dominate tonight so I have nothing to add. Except this: Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
mkreku Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Oh, and this! Hahaha! :D Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Deraldin Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I forgot to post about that. Sundin apparently joined in a performance of the Nutcracker at the ACC. :D
mkreku Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 And the Leafs win again! I actually consider this one long win streak since they just had the unlucky break of running into Alex Auld, the hottest goalie in the league right now, in their only (one goal!) loss in the last 5 games :D Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Kor Qel Droma Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 A six point night for Lupul? Seriously, WTF? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Montreal is emulating Toronto. They just can't seem to win at home.
Kor Qel Droma Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 (edited) Oilers center Shawn Horcoff shall now be known by his new title, Scorcoff!! Absolutely a mind boggling performance by the Oil tonight. Great job to come back and tie the game on four seperate occasions. You have been missed, Mr.Clutch Fernando Pisani!! And that 5 on 3 PK in the last two and a half minutes of the third nearly caused a heart attack or two. Plus Garon managed to look good in the third period, despite a pair of Edmonton defencemen who seem to have brain farts everytime they're on the ice together ( hello Staios!! talking to you here!!). Whew. Crazy ass game that was well worth the twelve bucks on pay per view. edit: I don't know if you can watch the highlights tonight Hurlshot, but tell me Edmontons' second goal didn't look exactly like one I scored on you in NHL 08. Edited December 12, 2007 by Kor Qel Droma Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Qwerty the Sir Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 A six point night for Lupul? Seriously, WTF? I was offered a trade: Lecavalier for Lupul awhile back as a joke...
Qwerty the Sir Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Zetterberg didn't dominate tonight so I have nothing to add. Except this: That guy on the right is me right there. Especially on nights where there are 10+ games and there are more players than active spots. In fact, I'm much more indecisive in fantasy hockey than I am in Icewind Dale.
Hurlshort Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 edit: I don't know if you can watch the highlights tonight Hurlshot, but tell me Edmontons' second goal didn't look exactly like one I scored on you in NHL 08. I was at the Sharks game, so I didn't get to see any highlights last night. I'll take your word on it It's good to see Edmonton beat the Blues, when did St. Louis get good again?
Kor Qel Droma Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Signing Kariya is a big factor, but the Blues turnaround is due more to the coaching of Andy Murray, methinks. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Qwerty the Sir Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Recchi said he would show the Penguins and he is right now. 2 goals already, and a period to go. Good game, by the way, Atlanta vs. Boston.
Deraldin Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) Calgary? Nine goals. In one game? We are talking about the Flames right? <-- Link Edited December 14, 2007 by Deraldin
Qwerty the Sir Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Calgary? Nine goals. In one game? We are talking about the Flames right? <-- Link Unless it was just sloppy play that led to all those goals, I would've wanted to watch a dazzling display of firepower from the Tampa Bay Big Three and Iggy and the Flames. Still, the Ottawa-Pittsburgh game was pretty fun to watch. A classic case of a goalie giving his team a chance to win when they really floated.

It figures that the night that I don't get any games televised, my preferred teams all win, but when I am watching, they all lose.
mkreku Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Toronto won again! Also, I saw a pig fly by my window today. He was holding a snowball and was on his way to hell. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Qwerty the Sir Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 HAHA! Lupul with another 2 goal game so far, and there's a period to go. I wish I could catch that game.
Deraldin Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 He got the hat trick! :D Koivu didn't get his. Still, first 2 goals in 12 games is something.
Kor Qel Droma Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 FFFFFFFFFFFFFFeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnn nnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddoooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Hemsky may be the most gifted player on the Oilers. Souray may have the hardest shot. Pitkanen may be the best pure skater. Horcoff might have the best season. But you, Fernando Pisani, are my favorite player on the team. Is it possible to have a hetero man crush on somebody? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Kor Qel Droma Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 No, McGuire is clearly gay. And it took thirty four games, but we're finally at the .500 mark!! I was so caught up in the victory that the win tonight also pushed the Oilers into ninth spot in the western conference!! It's like like pre-Christmas or something! Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Hurlshort Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 The Western Conference is frighteningly even so far. They are only like two teams that are dropping off at this point in the season. The Eastern conference is fairly tight too.
mkreku Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Sometimes I just hate hockey. Leafs lead 2-0 for 57.30. Then they suddenly let in two goals, the last one with less than 30 seconds to go. Then they lose in overtime to top it all off! Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
