Since we don't know **** regarding the forthcoming game, and we've got awhile before we do, we might as well use what we've got, which (presumably) would be the people working on the game.

 

So in the interest of keeping this section of the forum from collapsing or collecting dust before it's ready to host stuff about the game, why don't we try and have a "meet the personnel" kind of deal in this section of the forum? Perhaps something along the lines of what Bethesda's doing at the Fallout boards. We know Josh Sawyer pretty well around here, but we could stand to know a bit about the other cats around, no? And for n00bs who, because of painstaking research or blind glorious luck, discover that there actually exists an Alien RPG forum here, it will help as an introduction to the people behind the forthcoming game. Maybe we could even drag MCA out from wherever he is and bombard him with fanboi questions for a bit. This little niche couldn't have been created for the membership to play around in alone and for no good reason, could it?

 

O' course, initiating something like that would require some prior planning and the tacit consent of the people we would be "interviewing". It's just a thought, but it's marginally more productive than "How many barrels will there be?"

I have communed with our dragon. It seems the view of management is that this forum should be permitted to mature a bit before the devs get involved. I'm sure the idea of getting devs in will be viewed favourably later.
