Kor Qel Droma Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Plus those 11 thousand or so fans who show up most of the time for Devils games don't really give a ****, so what does it matter in the long run? There's no public scrutiny in Jersey, which must be nice. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) Hurry up and win the game Volo! Damnit Volo! Why didn't you win the game?!?! WHY!?! Question: Would you mind losing the game against Montreal in Overtime? You would still clinch a playoff spot and it would eliminate Toronto. Edited April 4, 2007 by Deraldin
Volourn Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) "Damnit Volo! Why didn't you win the game?!?! WHY!?!" I wish I knew! The Rangers are still fighting for 6th, and they have to 'officially' clinch a play off spot. R00fles! Rangers better brring their A Game against Monteal though. I'm lookin' for sum revenge from last week. P.S. If Montreal wants to clinch a PO spot; they should beat Toronto themselves. P.S.S. To make it all fair, NY should beat Montreal 7-2 just like they beat Toronto!! P.S.S. Worst comes to worst, a OT loss against Montreal wouldn't be the end of the world at least. Then we could rest Lundqvist in the final game that way (if the Rangers bother to). L0LLYGAGS!! Edited April 4, 2007 by Volourn DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Deraldin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I was cheering for you tonight. If you had clinched a playoff spot tonight, you could have rested Lundqvist and the big guns against Montreal. Seeing as that didn't happen I'll have to hope we can light up Lundqvist again.
Kor Qel Droma Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I could be mis-informed, but with Carolina being eliminated from the playoffs tonight this could be the first time in NHL history that both teams from last years final don't even make it to the dance the next season. Ouch! Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
mkreku Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 We're still in the race! But I really hope we play better against the Islanders or we can kiss this years playoffs goodbye too. That would make it two years in a row.. Horrible. But we'll win against the Islanders and we'll win against Montreal! GO LEAFS GO! Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 habs are losing to rangers. ****. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Deraldin Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 (edited) habs are losing to rangers. ****. Shut up, shut up, shut up... they have 2 minutes left to score two goals... Atleast Toronto is also losing. BAH! Montreal lost. I hope the Ranger's get swept again. Come on Tampa! Bump those Rangers back down to 7th place tommorow! Edited April 6, 2007 by Deraldin

Deraldin Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Quiet you! At least we avoided the shutout and the Leafs didn't win either.
Volourn Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 http://sports.sympatico.msn.ca/THN+Player+...ct=&abc=abc I agree with Avery 100%. I think NHL players ar eon crack. Anyone who watched that Toronto game last Sunday that, if anything, Sean Avery is underrated and underappreciated. Besdies, last i checked, it's not like there were ever tons of people rnating about how greta Avery was. Even though, now that i get to see him play a lot, I can easily say he's awesome, and vastly undderated espicially by the retarded fellow players. Deraldin Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 (edited) It feels odd to agree with Volo on something, but I don't know how anyone can think Avery is overrated. Edited April 6, 2007 by Deraldin
Volourn Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 (edited) HAHA! And, the Rangers got some help in serving up a 6th place finish with TB getting shellshocked by Florida. WOO HOO! Edited April 7, 2007 by Volourn DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Deraldin Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 (edited) HAHA! And, the Rangers got some help in serving up a 6th place finish with TB getting shellshocked by Florida. WOO HOO! Heh. The Rangers can still end up in 7th place. You get to take on Pittsburgh while Tampa only has Atlanta. And I notice that there hasn't been anything from mkreku lately. Come on man! Habs vs Leafs for the 8th seed in the east. How can you not be here trash talking!? Edited April 7, 2007 by Deraldin
Kor Qel Droma Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I am so glad that our season ends tomorrow. The Edmonton paper had a front page story about how Prongergate was the reason we were so horrible this year. Give it a rest already. I'd really like for Colorado to win tomorrow, and beat Calgary on Sunday to take the Flames playoff spot. But sadly, the two points we'll give our archrivals tonight will be just what they need to squeak into eighth spot. At least it's all over.... I'm going to watch the Leafs and Habs tomorrow. Should be good. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Volourn Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 "You get to take on Pittsburgh while Tampa only has Atlanta." Atlanta is no picnic, and the Rangers have played well against Pittsburgh even when they were struggling earlier in the season, and beta them last weak already. Rangers will be playing either Atlanta, or NJ in the first round. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

Kor: It's games like the Habs-Leafs tonight that make me sad that I don't have a big screen TV. Maybe I'll wander down to Future Shop. They have a really nice setup with these awesome couches and a 60" Sony plasma with surround sound. Maybe I can convince them to switch on the game. Too bad they close at 9. Hey mkreku! mkreku Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 And I notice that there hasn't been anything from mkreku lately. Come on man! Habs vs Leafs for the 8th seed in the east. How can you not be here trash talking!? Because I'm basically paralysed with fear. This game will probably be Sundin's last game as a Leaf. In the most important games of the year, he has minus stats and hasn't scored a goal in 11 straight. It's the last year on hos contract and who i their right mind would pick up the option for the next season knowing how he's been playing this year? It's worth something like 6 million.. Three games that they just had to win. They lost two (I'm not counting the game against lowly Washington.. that they barely won). Bigtime. And they played like ****. I'm not keeping my hopes up against Montreal. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

It's the last year on hos contract and who i their right mind would pick up the option for the next season knowing how he's been playing this year? It's worth something like 6 million. According to TSN his contract this year was $7.6 million and I found this on CBC. The Leafs also have an option for the 2007-2008 season that, if exercised, would pay Sundin $4.56 million plus a $760,000 signing bonus. Mats Sundin for $5.32 million? That's a good 2 million less than this year, why wouldn't they pay it?
Volourn Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Outside of his current scoring drought, Sundin has had a decent year. Evben now, he is getting his fair share of assists. I do remember earlier in the season everyone was on 'Sundin rules all ship'. Ha. People are so fickle. It's hilarious. If Toronto doesn't sign him, who are they gonna get to replace him. It's easy to dump someone. Not so easy, to replace them. Without Sundin, and no suitable replacement does anyone really believe Toronto will do better next year? Heck, the Rangers can use another top notch center. Send him to us. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Deraldin Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 (edited) 10 minutes in and the shots are like 20-3 for Toronto. Thank God it's still only 1-1... YES! Higgins muscles past Kubina and dekes another Leaf right off his skates and scores! Ryder scores a hat trick to put the Canadians up 4-3! Edited April 8, 2007 by Deraldin
mkreku Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 One period remaining, our captain has shot.. oh, probably TEN shots or something and he still hasn't scored (I think he is cursed). But we're only down ONE goal now, it's definitely not impossible. We need to stop taking stupid penalties and get back in the game! GO LEAFS GO! mkreku Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 (edited) YES, IT'S TIED AT 5-5!!! 3-1.. 3-5.. 6-5..! Unbelievable game! Edited April 8, 2007 by mkreku Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Volourn Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 And, Sundin has 3 assists yet all people will talk about most likely is he didn't score a silly gfood. Cool match up, though, all set up by the Rnagers CRUSHING both Montreal and Toronto in the past week. R00fles! DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
