Oh, then you should be doing much better than I am. Your RAM and harddrive are larger. Do you have any other programs running?

If you scroll to the very bottom of the textures, there should be a list of ones used in that area. Also, I believe if you use the color function and paint them white, that deletes the current texture.

Interiors are interesting. I've almost gotten the hang of the tiles but in almost every area, I run around in it and find an error.

Aha, so that's how you fix the 'diluted' textures. Good, good.

So you suspect it's a memory / CPU usage issue? I'll try running the toolset with no other applicaitons at all.

When you were talking about lagging, I thought might be low RAM but you appear to have enough. An EOF error wouldn't have anything to do with CPU usage. For whatever reason, the toolset might not be reading or writing the .mod files correctly.

I'm checking the BioBoards as I've seen number of errors dealt with there.. so far, no luck.

I don't blame you.

The hang-ups and crashes are rather a separate matter, though - it was just that specific error that kept corrupting the save files. Now that I've got that stupidity out of the way, the occasional hang-ups (which are sometimes fixed if I set the .exe on High priority for a while) don't bother me too much.

Yes, you can give them race related traits (I gave the lizard man +2 str, +2 con, -2 int, and darkvision, their favored class is druid). No, I didn't have to nix an existing subclass.

Yep, I'll be writing a 'how to..'

~sigh~

It didn't work. I was able to create a lizardman subrace but that was when I had the humanoid_reptilian subrace pointing at the elves. I can't figure out what the error is here.

*seppuku*

That said, you can alter the unused Humanoid_Reptilian line in racialsubtypes.2da and it doesn't change (as far as I've been able to tell) NPC Humanoid_Reptilians.

I fear everyone else has abandoned the topic.

For Sand, I just uploaded a Kobold Race Mod to the Vault and it should be appearing in the next few days. Enjoy.
