NWN Modules

I think he is the best module creator, so if you have time before/after/between the other games, try them

My personal favorite is the Hex Coda series ( a mix of tech/fantasy), even if its not fully finished.

I really think these modules ask for attention.

PS: be sure you download all the costum contest so you enjoy it 100%

I have played the penultima series (the first part though). I enjoyed them quite a lot but I didn't like the lack of long-term joinable NPCs (but they say this is fixed in the second part of the series). The people in this campaign are all lunatic and that's exactly what made me appreciate these modules. The story was ok too.

I was really disappointed that the Paladin trilogy wasn't completed. It was the best I played. A Hunt Through the Dark was good too, if a little short... and buggy.

Excrucio Eternum is one of my top 5 all time favorites! I highly recommend this one! Agree with the OP that you MUST download the custom music to be able to enjoy it fully - I personally think it is the best module soundtrack I have heard! Elegia Eternum is excellent as well. Penultima Rerolled is a lot of fun as well - just took a little time to get me hooked. And Hex Coda might be the best of all!!!

I've only played from those Hex Coda 01

It was quite good, but playing with wizard was painful (atleast in the beginning). Running out of spells all the time...

How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them.

I've only tried one of his modules. It was good; but the hype for the others scares me off.. They seem to be so overhyped; I puke at the thought of being one of the masses who play them. :) They might be good, they might be bad. *shrugs*

How the hell can you like Britney Spears and then "puke at the thought of being one of the masses who play" some NWN modules. It makes no sense

me too! :()

and also mailed with him some time ago, couldn't convince him doh to make new HC episodes. :bat:

Anyway, I want him to make an official expansion for NWN2 :bat:

My main char was a half-orc sorcerer (lets talk about minority in Hex Coda world  ) who became Red Dragon Disciple, and was focused on greatsword fights...heh, yes it was hard at the start of the modul but it got fun/funny at the middle of it, I also loved Six and I made her my favorite partner, also in *spoiler* Hex Coda 2 you get a staff like her, and you can put on a mage robe like the time mages have *spoiler* thus you can look like one of them, has flavor. :D

Maybe, but those aren't from Stefan :ermm:

PS: Hunt Through the Dark has 6 episodes, and you say its short? And I had no bugs in it.

Yeah, 6 45 minute - 1 hour episodes, though the later ones got better. Most of the bugs I had were in the last couple chapters. Like when I save the adventuring party, they talk to me we have a good chat then BAM, they all go agressive. I kill them all, go to the Inn, and they're all sitting at a table, and BAM all go agressive. There were a few broken quests and dialogue trees too.

All in all a lot of fun though.

And right, I didn't pay attention to the thread description, just the title. My bad. Never played any of Stefan's. Had most of them downloaded, but never got around to playing them.

Hasn't anyone played the Penultima series? Those ones rock! You really ought to try them.

I had some problems, too ... I was playing a Dwarven something (not a good idea in the underdark. I blame Volo for making me want to experiment with dwarfs ...)

It was a long time ago, though, I'm sure it has been cleaned up by now.

I played through the first one with a higher level character, too, which was interesting to see the political machinations of the various NPCs ...

umm....you are needed to play a Drow in the module, I guess this is why you had problems <_<

Hahahaha!

Indeed, Hunt through the Dark 1-6 are drow modules.

"The Prophet" modules were great as long as I played them (uninstalled NWN before Act III came)

Hey, my monk had no problem playing them after the Dwarf! :D

It was because the community had added some Dwarven sub-races, yet there were no Elven races ... and I had a hankering to play a Dwarf at the time ... :)"

Wasn't it a bit weird that the people always shouted 'hey a Drow!' when they met you? :)
