Hassat Hunter Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 There were never press releases. alanschu Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 (edited) I though John Morgan was a programmer. It's "official" in that it came from Obsidian. It's "unofficial" in that it's announcement was never anything more than a forum post saying that they were working on a game. I don't even think you could have really learned about it outside of these forums. Edited August 29, 2006 by alanschu

Judge Hades Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I am sure that was a nightmare job with how LA limited things for him.
alanschu Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 We'll never know given the speculative nature of the whole ordeal.
Judge Hades Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 That is unfortunate. KotOR 2 had a lot of potential in it but it fell short because of poor support and its unfinished form. Of course its easier to lay blame than to simply accept that is how the dice are rolled somettimes.
DarthMethos Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 If I remember correctly, the 'PNJ' forums were closed down because there was nothing new to report. Has anyone found evidence that 'PNJ" has been cancelled? Or, is this all a guess?
Fenghuang Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 PNJ is a Paper Mario sequel. Honest. I made Fergie tell me after getting him drunk in a truck stop off I-5. RIP

BicycleOfDeath Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Maybe this means that the Obsidian boys will talk about their games on their own forums now. Stand Your Convictions and You Will Walk Alone.
Dark_Raven Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Maybe this means that the Obsidian boys will talk about their games on their own forums now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What a concept! Devs talking on their own forum to the fans! I had ideas about the Devs posting here more often, which obviously, never came to pass. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
MarwinElMaco Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I HAVE A DREAM............. (Btw. Nice avatar Hades)
Volourn Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 "it fell short because of poor support and its unfinished form." I liked KOTOR2; but its biggest shortcomings were *not* poor support or it's 'unfinished form'. It sure felt finished to me. And, considering it had 2 patches, and KOTOR had 3; it's support (patch wise) wasn't bad. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Hassat Hunter Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Ofcourse the patch didn't came unusual late and contained a NEW game-stopping glitch ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created. And, considering it had 2 patches, and KOTOR had 3; it's support (patch wise) wasn't bad. Of which the first was an update to the online manual (if I remember correctly) and the second was strictly an attempt to fix some hardware incompabilities. They could easily have fixed some of the most glaring bugs, like typos etc. but I have some suspicions about contractual obligations to keep the xbox and pc version identical content wise. Just imagine the wailing and teeth gnashing if the patch had actually fixed ingame bugs for the pc users and not the xbox users “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
