Oerwinde Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 So what do people think of this? So far I'm liking it. I like the guy they got to play the lead. He has kind of a Nathan Fillion funny-without-trying kinda vibe to him. And S.A.R.A.H. was hilarious. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
LadyCrimson Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 The two episodes I've seen, I liked it. Needs to grow some but it's still very early of course. I also like the male lead, he's perfect. I'm kind of wondering how long they can sustain the 'weird thing of the week'...but Smallville's been doing it for years, so... Oh and Krookie, it's about the sheriff of a small top secret town where the best scientists etc. live in government funded luxury while inventing all kinds of weird sci-fi gadgets & mishaps like invisibility screens, intelligent AI houses, and dimmensional holes. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Gfted1 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 What channel is it on, Sci Fi? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"

LadyCrimson Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Yeah, it's on Sci-Fi, Tuesdays I think. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Krookie Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 sounds cool. By the way: has anyone seen that new show Three Moons Over Something?
kirottu Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I saw the pilot and it was mostly good fun, though it would have been better if "they" had remained as faceless "they" for bit longer. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
@\NightandtheShape/@ Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Been watching it, been liking it, good olde mong out TV. "I'm a programmer at a games company... REET GOOD!" - Me
Nartwak Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Yeah, 'sokay. I haven't really gotten into it yet.
kirottu Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 The deputy is hott. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Surreptishus Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 So is the romantic interest lady of indeterminate ethnic origin. Most of all the jailbait daughter is hot.
Marka Ragnos Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 for some stupid reason cox doesn't offer sci-fi here.
Oerwinde Posted August 12, 2006 Author Posted August 12, 2006 So is the romantic interest lady of indeterminate ethnic origin. Most of all the jailbait daughter is hot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Evil sex obsessed psychiatrist is also hot. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.

Surreptishus Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 (edited) That comment is rife with innuendo! We are only two episodes in where I am. So far I enjoy it but it seems like its teetering between lame and quirky. EDIT: Lookking back at the first post, now that i know what SARAH is, i would have to agree that it was funny. The fact that it was a guy's voice gave it that edge. Edited August 12, 2006 by Surreptishus
><FISH'> Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I watched the pilot and I quite liked it. I missed the second episode twice in the last few days, but I have a chance to catch it tonight at 1am.
