Well long story short, the SD37P2 has not happened. Due to some decisions by Shuttle, the system never arrived. After sharing the notebook with my partner for 2 months, the mobility got me ... so I've gone gaming mobile ... and here it is (ordered and in transit):

...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!...

A long, long time ago, but I can still remember,
How the Trolling used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance, I could egg on a few Trolls to "dance",
And maybe we'd be happy for a while.
But then Krackhead left and so did Klown;
Volo and Turnip were banned, Mystake got run out o' town.
Bad news on the Front Page,
BIOweenia said goodbye in a heated rage.
I can't remember if I cried
When I heard that TORN was recently fried,
But sadness touched me deep inside,
The day...Black Isle died.

The GPU makes sense - it often comes down to what you like/know. The good thing is there definite room to grow if you choose Diamond.

I updated my video card to a BFG GeForce 7800 GS OC 8x AGP, 256MB GDDR3. I will be set for a year or so until I get another computer built for me. And the person who bought it for me, I owe him big.

That's a nice card.

Rumour has it that Powercolor are building an AGP card based on the Radeon X1950Pro GPU. If (when?) that arrives, it'll be the fastest AGP card on the market. Until then, the Gainward 7800 GS Bliss 512MB GDDR3 AGP (based on the G71 core instead of the G70 like the rest of the 7800GS for AGP are) is the fastest. But the BFG, XFX, eVGA and the rest aren't far behind. They're all powerful video cards.

My BFG 8800 GTX arrived today, surprisingly.

Well since you've got that you won't be needing the old card. Just send it on up here and I'm sure I can find someone that could put it to some use. :shifty:"
