darth revan22 Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 revan_returns i agree,i think you should be able to visit more settlements on each planet.
Sturm Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Thanks, Yeah I just think its a bit dull how its focusing around 1 aspect of the planet, when there is a whole planet left to explore and gain information or whatnot.
vaxen83 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Would not mind having a planet or two from which Jedi hostages are rescued and escorted back to Coruscant and other core worlds. Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧
Silvershadow Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 I would personally like to go to Skor II myself... but that's just because I love Squibs, as they are wonderfully annoying. But if they didn't bother including the battle of Skor II in the Clone Wars cartoon, I'm pretty sure the odds of the planet getting included in any game are slim to none. *le sigh* Please review my fanfic! Jesse Conroy Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 (edited) Tatooine, with the big monster thing in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, in it would be awesome. Edited July 29, 2006 by Jesse Conroy "For my ally is the force, and a powerful ally it is"
icebox15 Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 My poor little topic, lol I also think that we should be able to explore the ENTIRE planet. Ad as far as the game times go...are counting how long you set the controler down to go grab some snacks?

BuckeyeRowe Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Personally I wouldn't want to revist planet from previous games. Maybe one or two, but just look how people were disappointed with Dantooine and Korriban. If you try to recreate them, most people will be disappointed. "Working for Davik was like driving a spike in the side of your head. Sure, you got something new up there, but in the end, you've lost something as well." - Canderous "But I though Jedi weren't allowed to love." - Handmaiden "But some do it anyway. We call it pulling a Bindo." - The Exile
Alec Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 I want all new planets... about 10 + 1 space station and 1 Sith cruiser. The only planet we can see again is either Dantooine or Telos.
Sturm Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Screw Telos Dantooine, and Korriban we need to see whats happening on both these planets because both these planets are significant to the Jedi and Sith followers, so we need to see what the hell is going on there, and if there is any rebuilding happening.
Alec Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 I'm sick of Korriban. It's just dead. I'd rather see other Sith worlds.
GhostofAnakin Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Dagobah. I want to see an entire planet where the entire purpose is to slop through the swamps and learn to lift your X-Wing out of the water. EUIX Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 (edited) Ruins of Taris, and out into the Unknown Regions. I would rather there be less planets and more detailed exploration of a single planet. Map it out so that you can go to different parts of that planet on a World map. Edited July 30, 2006 by EUIX "For ourselves, we shall not trouble you with specious pretences- either of how we have a right to our empire because we overthrew the Mede, or are now attacking you because of wrong that you have done us- and make a long speech which would not be believed; and in return we hope that you, instead of thinking to influence us by saying that you did not join the Lacedaemonians, although their colonists, or that you have done us no wrong, will aim at what is feasible, holding in view the real sentiments of us both; since you know as well as we do that right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
seejai Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 i think we should go to wherever the yousen vong (i spelt that very wrong) are from. they would be formible opponents "She was short, she was furry, she was loud, and she was determined to sell him a melon"- random passage from Spector of the Past by Timothy Zahn

seejai Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 yeah i know but they could be part of an unknown threat and then we forget about them again lol "She was short, she was furry, she was loud, and she was determined to sell him a melon"- random passage from Spector of the Past by Timothy Zahn
Sharks9 Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Even though Dantooine and Korriban are important to sith and jedi I hope they get rid of them for Coruscant and any other sith planet
Alec Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Even though Dantooine and Korriban are important to sith and jedi I hope they get rid of them for Coruscant and any other sith planet <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. I want to see mysterious planets, beyond the unknown. But not the Yuuzhan Vong... they are only mentioned by Canderous in K1 but don't represent a threat for at least other 4000 years, so lets not put them in... unless....... who knows.

When he is telling you the story of the astroid that departed for another Galaxy. It could have been a Vong Yorik-stronha... A spy sent to look at the Galaxy they were going to invade 4000 years later.
Terranova Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 I don't mind seeing some older worlds as long as they don't look exactly the same. Of course I'm assuming that K3 will run on a new engine, new visuals new possibilites the works. I'm hoping that we visit some of the worlds that were cut from the previous games. The two most notable ones are - ----- Sleheyron - A volcanic world controlled by the Hutts (A good substitue to anyone wanting Mustafar). It was supposed to be one of the most industrialized worlds in the galaxy with gas refineries, landing bays, slave pens all over the place. It was even rumored to have a gladiator arena (I really miss fighting for cash) run by 'Hutt Lords'. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sleheyron http://rpgvault.ign.com/articles/454/454429p1.html ----- M4-78 - Droids baby Droids. It was cut from K2. I think it's still a point of interest however. It could offer alot for any droids in the player's party. Perhaps we can actually put some canon history onto the planet as well. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/M4-78 ----- Ilum - The opposite to Tatoonie. An icy, snow world long used by the Jedi for crystals. It's native species the gorgodons would provide an interesting foe (well not really, but it would be cool to see in game). Obviously this world would provide a ton of crystals for the player to use in lightsaber construction (instead of going to the Dantoonie caves again, I hate Kinraths). Besides that it could offer for some really mystic looking environments for the artists. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ilum http://www.starwars.com/databank/location/ilum/index.html ----- Coruscant - This should serve as the 'New York' of the game. It would be like Taris with the multiple layers and all, but it would provide more in terms of what you could do with the story. Perhaps we can meet the current Supreme Chancellor or perhaps check out a new growing Jedi Order. Not only that but it's a really popular world. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Coruscant http://www.starwars.com/databank/location/coruscant/?id=eu ----- Alderaan - This is London or Paris compared to New York. Alot of fancy architecture, wealthy families etc. Sort of similar to Onderon with all this 'royality' and such. Not only that but it's barely seen. You only get glimpses or mentions of it at most. But the place looks beutiful. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Alderaan http://www.starwars.com/databank/location/alderaan/?id=eu ----- Korriban - I know we've seen it before, but for story purposes I think it might make a return. Perhaps a remant Sith faction has established the world as a base of operations. And if the 'True Sith' are to return they may be interested in the world. If the story allows you to choose between Jedi and Sith academies, then Korriban might end up being the best choice as many Sith probably know of it's location. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Korriban That's all I can think of at any rate

Krookie Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Could have but we dont know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes we do. It was confirmed by Bio.
Dark_Raven Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Hoth. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
