Moose
Vista <{POST_SNAPBACK}> why not get vista, then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Probably cos it'll suck balls for the first 18 months whilst they work on the 2nd edition. Dark_Raven
Vista <{POST_SNAPBACK}> @Hellgate. Are you sure that it is only for Vista? I thought it was for the older Windows as well. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

StillLife
Most modern computers couldn't even run Vista currently, that's why it sucks. Gotta love Microsoft, PC gaming is already in a rough spot so their solution is to make it even more expensive by forcing people to buy new, fancy systems just to play games that aren't even that technologically demanding. I'll have to pass on a Shadowrun squad-based shooter. What a grotesque misuse of an established, interesting RPG setting.

Morgoth
A multiplayer FPS huh? Kinda weak. I guess they (Fasa) don't have the talent to make a decent CRPG. That usually often happens when the smart people leave or get fired, and only ass digger and "Yes sayers" remain. The result is either a WoW or a CS clone. LOL. Btw what's that hype with Vista and Xbox360 crap? Anybody looked at those screenshots? Is it just me or do they look somewhat.... 1998ish? Rain makes everything better. Morgoth
FASA? FASA's dead. Been dead for a loooooooooong time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No they were devoured from M$. Though I can imagine that FASA Studios is not quite the same anymore than FASA Interactive from the good ol' days... Doesn't matter. Multiplayer sucks, and even if Obsidian would come up with a MP Shadowrun game, I wouldn't buy it. Rain makes everything better.

Hurlshort
Ok, I just watched a rather long preview that I downloaded off my 360. I died a little inside. It was like Unreal Tournament with magic. It looked great, but any resemblance to the Shadowrun PnP game dies at the concept of American Indians versus Techies. I wanted to reach in and strangle the design team for raping one of my favorite licenses.

It also looked sub par to many of the other FPS games that were shown for the 360 this E3. Dissapointing use of an interesting license and most likely a dissapointing game by itself. LoneWolf16
http://pc.ign.com/articles/706/706271p1.html <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "of games that will be available for Microsoft's new operating system Vista in January of 2007" seems to indicate that those games will be able to run on Vista, not exclusively. I'm hoping for the best.
