LoneWolf16 Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows 'Cause I won't know the man that kills me and I don't know these men I kill but we all wind up on the same side 'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will. - Everlast
WITHTEETH Posted April 30, 2006 Author Posted April 30, 2006 He really rips the president a new one, no fear even the the president is 2 feet away. Awesome live footage of Colbert speaking at the white house correspondance dinner. Great job! Always outnumbered, never out gunned! Unreal Tournament 2004 Handle:Enlight_2.0 Myspace Website! My rig

WITHTEETH Posted April 30, 2006 Author Posted April 30, 2006 (edited) What are you talking about? He just sucked up to the guy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its sarcasm. Colbert relates him to rocky for getting hit inthe head many times and still losing the fight. He claims him on making judgements on gut feelings, not facts. He makes a mockery of the whole white house administration! The only thing good he says about the president is that he makes the world greatest photo ops, on jets and flooded cities. He talks about the 32 approval rating and how there just statisics that are based on reality, and reality as we all know is a liberl biased, and that don't listen to the polls, because the glass is not half empty its 2/3 empty, and the last is always back wash. He rips onthe president. Edited April 30, 2006 by WITHTEETH Always outnumbered, never out gunned! Unreal Tournament 2004 Handle:Enlight_2.0 Myspace Website! My rig

Arkan Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Colbert is awesome. "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
Hurlshort Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 It was pretty funny, but who the heck decided to give Colbert 30 minutes at a White House dinner? Honestly they could have cut him off after about 7 minutes, he definitely lost steam.

Lyric Suite Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I think he kept it up pretty well, all considering. It does lose steam once he starts picking on the various members in the crowd though, and the final video wasn't that funny. The first 15 minutes or so were pure hilarity though...
Lucius Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 LOL, what were they thinking? Surely they must know that Colbert is a former member of the very liberal crew at the Daily Show, and that his right wing rant on the Report is all fake? Anyway, he got balls man. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
Lyric Suite Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 What the hell, i was going to show this to a friend, but the link doesn't work anymore.
