astr0creep Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Cashing in on the Fallout craving? Good for them. Hope they don't f*** it up. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
karka Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 (edited) I'm still waiting for The Fall. I will play Afterfall after playing The Fall. (Repeat this rapidly) Edited April 29, 2006 by karka
Morgoth Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Do those Russians actually have anything else in their portfolio other than some wannabe Fallout clones? Rain makes everything better.

Morgoth Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 (edited) ekhmm ekhmm they are Polish :] So am I :] it's quite big diffrence between polish and russian people just look at the history of the eastern europe and how many there was wars : Poland Vs Russia most of them in middle ages <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh well...my bad. I just looked at the Team names and automatically associated it with Russians. There're alot of Fallout clones in development and already released from Russian developers, though none of those show real promise, so I was a little too hasty. But Tetris was developed by a Russian, so maybe there's still a chance we'll see other genres/settings too! Oh and about The Fall: If you know what's good for you --> DON'T TOUCH IT!!! kirottu Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 That site is slower than one legged man on bicycle going uphill. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Baley Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 We here at Obsidian use the Kaftan Barlast theorem for European identification, i.e. Europe consists of Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, Schweiz, Germany, Austria, Italy and some minor tidbits like Malta. Former east block countries are not european(they are russkies), and neither is Britain or Scandinavia. Greece wasnt really Russkie-country but it aint European if ye ask me! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You might not like it, you might not enjoy it, you might not agree with it, but deep down inside, at your soul's very core, you're a russkie, Russkie.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Looks like the one pice thong survives the bomb. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Diamond Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Do those Russians actually have anything else in their portfolio other than some wannabe Fallout clones? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Among all Russian games I've heard of there is no single Fallout clone. Care to elaborate?
Shadowstrider Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 If Nival made a post-apoc game using the Silent Storm engine I'd treat it like my prom date.

Deraldin Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Still waiting for STALKER <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With the speed of the Afterfall site, STALKER might be out before the damn thing loads. <_<
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 the site doesn't work.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looks ok to me. Lot slower than it was when this was first posted though. Judge Hades Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Yep, that is the error I got. If they can't even get their web page right I don't have any hopes for the game.
mkreku Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Since when are the developers doing websites? Or is the real question: how dumb can one get? Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Judge Hades Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 (edited) Black Isle did their own websites. Okay, if a developer cannot even maintain their website there is no reason to think they would make a decent game. Edited April 29, 2006 by Judge Hades
