mkreku Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 http://www.sega.com/e3/ SEGA has announced a webpage dedicated to their so far unnanounced titles for E3. Each day (beginning tomorrow, on the 25'th, ending May 10) they'll pull the cover on a new title that's supposed to appear on E3. One of those titles are bound to be from Obsidian, so if you're interested in that, make sure you check in from time to time. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
karka Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 (edited) I've bookmarked the page. Edited April 24, 2006 by karka
kirottu Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 One of those titles are bound to be from Obsidian. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Tigranes Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 I really don't think we'll get anything since SEGA one isnt' PNJ. Obsidian doesn't have enough people to have 1 game in crunch time, another in preproduction/production then one more ready for E3... Unless PNJ had been demoted months ago for this. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
Morgoth Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 One of those titles are bound to be from Obsidian... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Proof? Unless this is PNJ (which I think Fergie clearly denied), an announcement isn't gonna happen any time soon. Rain makes everything better.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Seems a bit soon. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
metadigital Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 More games = good. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
mkreku Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 Proof? I have no proof as this is all assumption. I'm not saying they'll show anything at E3, but perhaps a name? A poster with a scantily clad big-busted woman? A genre? Perhaps nothing at all. We'll see. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Meshugger Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 I would say next year's E3, but hey, i wouldn't mind a suprise "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Same. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
Llyranor Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Now THAT would be a nice surprise. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Not likely that SEGA is the publisher. I'd expect something PNJ related to crop up though. Could even be a PS3 launch title considering how long it's been in production. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
kumquatq3 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 wait wait, did I get that right, each day between tomarrow and May 10th????????? thats 15 titles?!?!
funcroc Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Day 1: Virtua Tennis 3 http://www.sega.com/e3/2006/announcements_...em=pr_20060425a
mkreku Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Well, it's possible that some days may be spent revealing other things than actual titles. Their press release was somewhat ambiguous, but we should be treated to a good deal of titles at least. 14 days to go. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Day 1: Virtua Tennis 3http://www.sega.com/e3/2006/announcements_...em=pr_20060425a <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lame'd! come on Sega!
Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 If it lacks horror, and I can't decap a zombie, it's of no true value *except games like Shin Megami Tensei, silent hill, Obscure, Shadow Hearts, Koudelka, Front Mission, and Disgaea like games of course ^_^
alanschu Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I enjoyed the Virtua Tennis games, though I think I'm just not enough of a fan of the sport to justify buying it. I think they are pretty successful though.
kumquatq3 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 If it lacks horror, and I can't decap a zombie, it's of no true value Hmmm......pretty much a rock solid arguement there, I can find no holes, so I surrender the point.
